    Howdy Folks. K-TAM is once again bringing to you live and on air Trick Dempsey Defiance Creative Lead. We will also have Dahanese providing some back up and then solo for an entire hour after Trick to talk community matters.

    The format will be an open forum on K-TAM via our mumble. I will be moderating, I hope, as much as asking questions/follow ups. Our topic is DLC 2.

    The idea with K-TAM has always been to bring the community closer to the people involved with the game. This means priority to questions will be given to those people who are live, in our mumble talking via their mic's. Then in Mumble Chat, and lastly questions selected by K-TAM Staff from these forums and other sources.

    Feel free to post your questions and comments here. We can't promise or guarantee they will all be answered or even asked. We will get to what we can. Your best chance is to join our mumble in person and ask them yourself.

    Our mumble does have limited space, it will be first come first serve.

    Please keep your questions DLC 2 related.

    Oh DLC 2, well most of my questions were not related to DLC 2. Haha. I'll save them to have asked on the friday live streams.

    Alright, these two questions are somewhat loosely related to DLC 2 (first one because DLC 2 introduces instanced open-world events, second one because shotguns bonuses are tweaked in the DLC). There's no chance I can be online at that time of the day, so I'm just asking them here.

    Would you consider using instancing mechanisms for more open-world events (arkfalls and sieges) ? There's no real fun at arkfalls when there are so many players around that enemies die before even touching the ground, and big crowds cause performance problems to consoles. Arkbreaks are great in that regard.

    Would you consider changing accuracy bonuses on shotguns, in the same way that magazine bonuses were changed on the test server? Right now these bonuses are flat, with values that don't really have any significant effect (a -0.10 bonus on a shotgun with a base accuracy of 15 is a 0.6% bonus...). They would be much better as relative bonuses, like the run 'n 'gun and rolling thunder synergies (x0.90 for white, x085 for green, and so on).

    Oh yeah, and the obvious one: given all the negative feedback on the new grenade system, are you just going to go ahead and push the system the way it is on the test server?

    UPDATE:

    We have confirmed Dahanese for 1 full hour from 5-6 PT live on K-TAM immediately after Trick's interview. That's 2 hours of Dev/CM's for you to join us on Mumble and ask your questions directly.

    It wouldn't be possible with out the support of our fans and listeners to give us the ability to get these people on for you. So thank you to all our supporters. You help make this possible.

    I don't *see* it referenced in the patch notes or recent discussion.

    Are you mentioning it out of the blue, did I miss a mention of it, or has mention been scrubbed from the intertubes and this is the last place it exists.

    It's one of the few things that IS wanted, SEEMS possible, and probably WON'T be granted.

    Aside: (Incorrect syn is what breaks the combo and keeps the syn from fully activating. On occasion plans and logistics can change, and being able to make a weapon useful by the reallocation of a single, or more, mods at a later date can make one's game-play tactics make a 180* when new avenues open up.
    **** If it's not fixed - when? And/or what does TRION propose if it's in fact not fixable as some have opined that the server may have LOST the syn data rendering syn'd mods generic?
