And infractions mean what? This is the internet, not the streets. We won't be locked down on house arrest, or prevented from being on the internet, period. It's voicing our opinion, and we have every right to. When it comes down to it, infractions mean nothing except in this simple little end of the internet where Trion rules, and no one else has a voice.. except those who continue to post when told not to.

And, fyi, masochism is an enjoyment for pain. This isn't painful. It's somewhat amusing.

Just how big is this update? :confused: I started patching, got the speed up to steady 4.87mbps and left it to download.. Said 35 minutes, that was almost an hour ago and now the speed dropped to 3.87mbps and says 1h 30m remaining...

was really small (PC) took around 7 mins to download and was less than 2GB.

Not sure when my game finished patching, but when I got into the game, a bunch of textures were black but not all just as others have reported.. Restart and requires a whole new install and patch :/

My download took a little over an hour, even while reaching average speeds of about 20-22 Mbps. And after getting a "server timeout error" message twice, I didn't even bother trying to play this game and quit back to the XBL dashboard. Spent the rest of my evening playing Assassin's Creed 3 on my PS3.

Trion... it's almost like you don't want me to play your game, and it has been weeks since I last tried to play it.

Don't shoot the messenger... I couldn't get logged into their servers. There's only so much staring at the Defiance launch screen that I can tolerate. The music is nice to listen to, but damn... ;)
