Today I spent 3 of 4 spikes for a major, and today I saw the group wait till we had a full room!

I thought to myself hopefully: this could be it! I may see him die now!

    Then despair...
Four people crawling on the floor... Helpless in their un-educated thinking that they would spawn miles away...
    Then more despair...
Two people (who were also using BMGs) trying to revive said crawlers....

My hopes drop and I continue the good fight with the hopes I at least get a good roll at the end...
    The. Hope returns!
A little under 3 minutes left and his crystal smashes!
We may not beat him but giving him a kicking is possible, no one is on the floor anymore!
About 20seconds left and we're fighting him and his
    Summoned Volge minions...

    He vanishes!

I got two purple Volge AR's and a Purple SMG!

    My overall point is:
People are learning, people are waiting for the room to fill, and more people are realising its better to extract than revive!
In some cases it may be better to extract than self revive!

I shall be online again later tonight and shall be working in mastering my SMG! :)

When you enter one of these major arkfalls that have been called down by people's batteries.. and there clearly aren't enough people in the instance to even have a chance at taking the Warmaster down, don't go any further than eliminating the volge. Just .. be a good sport, stand there, and wait for more people to join. Chances are, if you see a good amount of people in the very same clan, we're working on pulling more people in. For some random (which is cool with me, Idgaf that it's allowed a bit!) to go down and break him free is just pure stupidity. It's more of a kick in the teeth than watching two fools at a siege starting it before more people have a chance to arrive-- only, in the Arkfall's case, hey, there's no chance you're going to top that damage or kills list by starting early.

    Food for thought.

This has been your public service announcement. Return to your regular scheduled whining, trolling, and gamebreaking. :p:cool:

Good point - I've been in that situation a few times and wished I had known how to get out of it or prevent it from happening.

You know, we really only have Trion to blame for this *stuff.* Everything needed for this boss (weapons, tactics, etc.) goes COMPLETELY against everything Trion has put in place for the rest of the game.

We are used to rezzing miles away. Not anyone's fault that they don't want to rez for that thinking. Defiance has not made us to think any differently.

Weapons, too... and shot location (meaning ONLY the right arm... why does he have more than one spot anyways?)... and group tactics... You get what I am saying.

Extraction points are not always miles away. In point of fact, other than player hubs for certain traditional Arkfall locations, most extraction points are nearby for conflict sites and Sieges and some are even inside the combat zone. Extraction over reviving has already been the norm for Sieges for quite some time because of this (and the fact that EGO power regeneration is automatic upon extraction).

The Warmaster doesn't have just one spot. It's just good combat tactics to focus on one spot since it takes so much damage to expose a weak point and the right arm is the easiest target because of the phase where he is hanging from the wall with it.
