I had a sneaking suspicion there would only be ONE interior for the arkfalls... Nim's bedroom is beyond boring at this time. In the name of all that is holy, just switch it up already. Please!

Agreed. Nilxain and I both looked into how the scoring really breaks down, and the bonuses are often much higher than the 10% we were led to believe.
http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...Scoring-System
This is the system being used. If you do the math, you can see that most Volge cappoint kills give bonuses over 23% of the total point pool (up to 1170 points for an elite viscera), and can even be as high as 37% for rescue kills. This should be modified to promote a team effort and not generously reward the people landing killshots (which is worse now than ever with surge bolter buffs). Note: assists are not bonuses, just your share of the damage dealt.
Well, rather than basing points for enemy types or anything else, a straight damage point system would work best. Then people wouldn't wait to shoot that small enemy in the head near the cap point for tons of damage. Instead, they might just start shooting the thing closest to them or the biggest threat.
And the "Assist" thing, like you said... well, what the hello? I've shot tons of crap to not have my score go up or get an "Assist" notification. That being said,
Question: For scoring at Sieges, is there a damage threshold that you must get per enemy before you actually get points from them dying?
Sometimes the notifications don't display like they should, but if you check the chat box you'll see the points.
Sometimes there's the whole server side vs. client side issue. Like when people blast away at the progenitor and it displays critical kill for them, and then they find out they didn't get the achievement because the server side actually determined someone else killed it.
TRION:
- When are you going to fix the above?
- When are you going to fix kill counts in the combat pursuits? Most of us already know that if we write down our beginning number (X), go to a remote location and kill 100 badguys while alone, our final kill tally will frequently be something along the lines of (X+65) to (X+80).
So what got answered? I just woke up.
http://www.twitch.tv/trionworlds
Hasn't started yet, they are on Rift portion, they are on US time from now.
So........ it seems they only are answering questions in the twitch live chat.... Well that was useless. Trick answered one of my questions on the live stream that I asked in the Twitch chat and I'm positive his answer is incorrect.
Yep. They didn't have anyone to prep these to be answered this week.
I asked a couple times for Trick to come in here to answer some of this, but they didn't respond to it.
In general, it's the same answers we usually get. Generic, timeless answers to very specific questions. Though I was shocked that they actually said the Scav Sniper would finally get added to the game with DLC3..... whenever that is... lol
Sounds like a pretty poor 3 weeks for questions. Will watch the stream in the morning sometime.
Storm58 says;
Is there any way to get the scoring of Sieges altered?
- No more added points for killing an enemy around a point.
- No "assist" or "kill" extra points.
- Points are solely doled out based on damage done to an enemy, NOT who actually gets the kill or where they were when they died.
Your points are solely a measure of how much you actually helped out."
I say;
Never happen.
Too simple and straight forward.

"I" don't even care anymore.
All my 'toons are to 20 on B/A snipes.
Have all my 'Assassin' titles.
Have several orange B/A's or EL B/A's so all my 'toons are adequately equipped.
The Scavenger Pulsars I've tried have had a crummy return on investment for modding them with proper syn mods.
I can still run out of ammo at times with the Scavenger perk equipped and assassins cache running if/when I have to shoot at stuff that clearly aren't one-shot-one-kills. The only thing that I can see to want at this point would be a TNTW Prepared sniper and 2 perks to keep me pumped when I'm sitting in a remote location and only have Assassins Cache to rely on.
The burning question in several threads about the Surge Bolter being overpowered seems to have been addressed, if I heard correctly. (I haven't checked Etaew's transcript, yet). It was a typo in the damage table, so the time frame for correction is anyone's guess. Enjoy it while you can until it gets trimmed back down to it's appointed spot.
No hater's please.
Can't we all just get along?
I have the best question ever.
Ready?
Here it comes.
"Why are you being a bunch of penny hoarding ********s instead of producing a good game (that we'd all be more than happy to pour money into)?
IBFL
My guess is that they don't believe in the game as much as we do.
So they put stupid gimmicks in because they don't UNDERSTAND the game at all, much less understand it the way we do.
And they don't want to do what they consider throwing good money after bad.
The only thing that makes this a bad or risky game is the fact that TRION is bungling stuff at *many junctures* since release.
The game had/has a solid premise, and they're screwing up what they don't understand or appreciate. If it was a RIFT-like game, they'd have clues.
Since it's NOT a RIFT-like game, the only thing they know how to do is turn it into a RIFT-like game, and it's resisting, but they'll hammer on it until the last (non-RIFTy) player leaves, if they have to.
jmho.
No haters, please.
Love the game, can't accept the shtako they keep doing to it.
But Rift has a nice working chat, territories to explore, nice housing system, bank, auction, and inventory that don't look like a garbage bag. Oh, and holiday events. I'd love to see all this in Defiance! But no. So I don't think they try to turn Defiance into Rift. They simply don't take this Defiance project too seriously.
Well, there it is then. The transcript shows basic discussion about the grenades and, to me, gives an indication that they are here to stay with no modification.
Quote:
Why are grenades not auto loot?
Because if I have only used a single grenade out of a stack of 5, and I don't want to pick up a stack of 5 grenades accidently [sic] when I could instead throw my remaining 4 and then pick up the stack of 5.
Why don't grenades automatically refill grenades from the claim items list
We do not want people to have an unlimited supply of grenades without ever having to exit combat, if you go to the claim item window you can grab them in the middle of a fight but you will be blinded and vulnerable.
And here's the scoop about the surge bolter. Wondering how the new scoring is going to work?
Quote:
Siege Updates
Yes we are fixing the surge bolter, and we are working on a major scoring update to encourage people to co-operate in sieges. Reviving people will be worth points.
