you know im not totally against it but everyone should know its a group thing and you cant start the end battle without all the other people invovled it blows your chance of winning and ruins the experience for everyone especially the people who put down the arkspikes they paid for just to have a selfish person ruin it

I believe that the arkbreaks should have reserved places for dlc owners, if there are not enough people in that instance (24 max) the spare places should be meeted out to the non-dlc people. I also think anyone in a group with dlc owners should be treated as though they had the dlc for as long as they are in the group.

I also feel that people who invest an ark battery should be guaranteed a place in the first instance of the arkbreak, followed by dlcers, followed by those who turned up first etc.

Since they spawn multiple instances if there are more than 24 at the arkbreak, they should also allow non dlcers to make up the numbers there as well. However I feel that instead of a long waiting screen for those waiting to enter, it should be like all other co-op and shadow war waiting lists, you apply, go about your business, and when an instance has been filled, they are told to ready up and join.

i too am a season pass holder, and im not saying they should not be allow to participate in the arkfalls. im saying they should not be allowed to enter the arkfall interior, why should people that didn't buy the dlc be allowed the benafits of entering the interiors if they do not buy the dlc?

Most children are taught early-on in life what the value of a dollar is and for good reason -- so they're fiscally responsible adults. In this DLC, there are problems with folks that utterly cannot buy a battery or see the value of a battery that jump in an arkbreak just to goof off because "they can". This is simply not "right" and should be carefully evaluated by Trion.

Here is how I see it though: I see it as if I'm being punished for purchasing the DLC. Yes punished. You see, I'm the one obligated to buying a battery and wasting my script, while those who did not purchase the DLC run around freely without any concern or worry about buying that battery. In essence I am being punished. No player should ever feel this way.

I would suggest a very thoughtful re-evaluation of this DLC and would like to suggest that if it must remain open, then all players should have the ability to BUY the batteries, however only DLC owners should get free batteries once per day and once per week.

I'm personally not a fan of any pay to win scheme including pay-for-content. I'm also a season-pass holder and I believe firmly that everyone should be on the same level playing field. Do be very careful in what you're asking for.

With that said, I believe non purchasers should have "access" and should be able to use the weapons, however they should not be entitled to the appearance items, free batteries, story, or titles.

This game has stayed a course I enjoy and that is that there is near-zero pay-to-win in this game. What that means is, when I achieve #1 on the leader-board, I know that was my skill and not my wallet (buying a lockbox is something I don't like but as long as it remains nearly 5 bucks, I'm not going to argue too much). I'm fiscally conservative and do not like feeling like I have to make a transaction to be competitive. Likewise, I'm not going to participate in such a scheme as my refusal to participate makes any game that does this the very antithesis of fun, thus Trion will loose a player should they slide down this slope.

I also imagine my thinking is not a unique thought either. My wife, 4 kids, 8 friends, and 4 co-workers will also stop playing if something like this was executed as we are all deserters from other MMO's who has instituted the same pay-to-win scheme (or similar) that you're asking for. So far, we have all been very loyal to Trion and Defiance, even during all the bugs and have stuck with it since the beginning and patroning Trion by buying trucks, appearance items, blade colors, and other fluff items just to do our part in helping the game chug along. However, we have not, and will not buy lock boxes or boosts because we do not believe this system is fair and thus will not contribute to this system.

The moment Trion embrace a system where content purchases are necessary for advancement and to remain competitive, I can easily foresee a mass exodus on an already population crippled community.

This ^ will never stop sadly.

until they Fix the DC issue, non paid folk should be Blocked.
I bought the Ultimate Ed (which came with the SP)
and feel like I got Very Little for the price.

think about it, thus far Pass Holders have the Casithan arenas (Big Fat Deal they're boring)
and, wait for it: New weapon usage. I am sorry that is NOT paid dlc. it's ignorant and insulting.

it's rare I can do an arkbreak without totally rebooting then
    entering and actually get inside.

if I have Not rebooted it's like this
    enter, wait wait wait wait
    and Wait for it.........
    ....DC lol
and the Lack of Communication once inside... who is writing this code? a herd of wild hamsters (lol)

i disagree with everyone being able to buy the batteries because that would basically make dlc pretty much worthless since you can only even start buying the batteries once you have completed the whole 45 min at most missions that basically we paid for.

it would be easier for Trion to just lock out people that didn't buy the dlc from entering the arkfall interior of the arkfall.

the main reason i feel this way is because i feel cheated on the dlc, because i paid for something that even people that didn't pay for can enjoy. short of the stupid missions leading up to being able to use the batteries that is.

i agree with you i don't feel like i am getting what i paid for if people that didn't pay for it are pretty much gets the same amount of content i do.

the whole point to the dlc was so we can start calling down arkfalls and entering the interior of the arkfall we call down, well if people that didn't pay for the arkfalls can do all that short of actually calling them down, what the &*% did i have to pay for it for, it should not have been classified as a dlc only as a game upgrade/repair.

I understand what your saying Mike....but I don't think that would necessarily make a difference.

I'm sure there are DLC owners out there that don't buy batteries.....they sit and wait for others to place them. There should be something that shows when you look at someone that tells you they have batteries....like a circle around the nano symbol....or make it so a person can only place one battery down at a site.

I don't mind placing a battery, but I shouldn't have to place more than one if there is another Arkhunter with one available....especially if they are going to participate.
