A Plea to Trion: Hacking is becoming a huge problem..
Hacking, has not only become a problem but it is getting more and more openly obvious. Today, my clan of a modest group of a few handfulls active folks were banging our heads against walls in coops until we made a startling discovery.

In the co-op maps (take your pick), hackers seem to be able to push whom ever they wish out of a group and come right in your spot -- near instantly. Allow me to explain, mainly so if anyone else is experiencing this, we are more certain it is hacking and not some blunder of a bug by Trion?

We enter a Co-Op (Island of the Lost) and down the monarch in about 30-45 seconds. Instantly, 2 of our members are booted out of the zone -- the group leader (myself), a good friend leaving my wife and another friend in the zone (I can see my Wife's monitor). As soon as we're booted 2 players enter in our place only leaving a few seconds of vacancy.

We do what we're not supposed to do and just leave, we work together and are very anal about that. So we start the co-op over again. Once again just after the monarch and after killing her in just under a minute, my daughter is booted this time, and near instantly the SAME GUY that replaced me last time poped in her place.

    We once again left.

Third time -- you can imagine exactly what happened, except this time it happened as soon as we zoned in to ANY co-op. One to two of our members are booted from the group and replaced by one of two of these guys. NOTE: IT IS ALWAYS THE SAME TWO PEOPLE (today at least).

This is very brazen, it is very obvious. While I'll admit this could be a bug and the chance of seeing the same guy now 8 times in a row could be a miraculous coincidence, however considering the plausibility that these guys are likely hacking/cracking in such a way that they are able to manipulate the server's team-finding and grouping ability is well grounded in the realm of reality. When a player can manipulate the server in such a way, there is a problem that requires Trion's immediate attention.

    Reasons that point to hacking:
    • Player does not experience a crash, only a strange load screen as if they left the group
    • Replacement time is instant
    • Replacement character is one of a few people
    • Replacement characters are generally able to double the score of the lowest person there just in the last fight without taking any damage
    • Replacement characters are usually at ridiculously low ego levels with white/green weapons

Trion, I'm pleading with you, please fix this.

Edit: Just for clarity, these events and events like it have been happening for over 3 weeks now.

As Mike said, we are having a lot of problems with Co-Op groups. You get random people from your group, to include the group leaders, get suddenly kicked from the group and then replaced by another player before they can drop out entirely so that they could be re-invited. It seems to be the same few that we see over and over again that join after such events. Had it happen twice in a row earlier and it was the same person that got invited both times. Then there's been more than one time where someone at a ridiculously low level in comparison to the rest of the group has a ridiculously high count at the end of the match compared to the time that they were there. Even had one a little while ago that didn't seem to get damaged when he was hit dead on!

Whatever it is that's going on, there's something funny up. Either they're able to hack into the system somehow or the system is bugged REALLY bad.

are the offenders on any of your Co-Op group's friend lists by chance? i know you can "go to friend" if said friend is in an instance. perhaps a bug lies there.
the good/bad news is, once you get to 4k+ ego and maxed out all your reps theres no reason to go to Co-Ops other than entertainment.

They're not on friends list of anyone in the group. I had asked.

While I can confirm that everyone sounded off that these guys were not present in anyone's friends list -- even if they were, how would they be able to push other people out of the group and how could they do so instantly? When I try to go to a friend where the group is full, I get the message, "The player you are trying to join currently is in a full group".

And it just happened this time, we were tired of loosing our progress when these morons joined, we vote-kicked them, only to have him reappear (INSTANTLY!!!!) beside us not in the group.

    This guy is brazenly hacking.

Shall I name the 2 i've seen so far for you, Trion? I know you're very busy trying to pry what little cash you can from whoever might offer it up to pay more heed to actually solving issues.

Anyway you or one of your friends could video this as it's happening and send that to Trion?
I would like to think they would want the information and it might help them to see whats going on.
I would so like to think they care.

It'd be nice to think they are capable of pulling info like that from the servers, you know, using computers to keep track of 'information', and all.... but your way is probably the one least likely to lead to the server crashing I guess.
