I'm from the county of Fife, in Scotland. The best thing thing that's ever come out of there is author of The Wealth of Nations, Adam Smith. Given he died in 1790, that sort of shows you how interesting it's been around here for the past couple of hundred years ;)

Some of my distant family came from Scotland. Always wanted to take a vacation there to get a slight feel for old family history.
