Simple request for Trick: use Firestorm skin somewhere else

The VBI Firestorm is a special version of the VBI AR that comes from the special edition of Defiance (I think). It looks awesome, but the damage is greatly nerfed due to it constituting a starting weapon.

I hate seeing the artwork go to waste, so I was hoping that maybe the Firestorm's skin could be used somewhere else.

Perhaps the most obvious choice would be the VBI vendor version of the EMC Service Rifle, because:
-It always has a fire nano
-The electric EMC Service Rifle sold by one of the secret vendors has an electric-looking custom skin

This should be a 5 minute change, so even though it's not life or death I dare suggest it anyways. To honor the original artist, if nothing else :p

Just in case someone doesn't know what I'm talking about, here are the four VBI AR skins I know of in the game. They are, respectively, stock VBI AR, electric hidden vendor EMC Service Rifle, VBI Firestorm, and VBI TACC AR (with mods).

hmm maybe its time trion offered skin mods for guns, perhaps priced similarly to t3 mods, it would require a 5th mod slot on weapons not sure how flexible the code is

Yea you're probably right maybe they could offer a basic selection of skins for in game scrip and have some of the more luxurious ones like gold and platinum as micro transactions.

I like having Arctic camo on snipers, don't know why they just look good in arctic camo

For the record the firestorm is not a starter gun. It is a reward gun for entering arkfall codes found in game at the Trion website.
It used to be a usable weapon until Trion decided the reward should be a poke in the eye for the time spent entering codes instead of a usable gun. They did the same with the thundershock as well.

By starter gun I mean that it has a lower damage rating than other VBI ARs, similar to starting guns.

The Fire Storm used to be my main. The thing was sweet looking. But Trion went the route of MMO like progression and rightfully so. The Fire Storm is a grey tier weapon but imo it got nerfed to much then it should have.

You have to put in the time of putting in Ark Codes to get it. The Firestorm along with the Thundershock should be a little bit more special then what they are now, which is worthless. The weakest guns in the game.

Same goes for Hydra Rocket Launcher. Its was stated as "The powerful Hydra Rocket Launcher" and no one knew what it did. And the bunk thing was atm of Launch there was a VOT Mass Cannon with multiple rounds that would automatically detonate above enemies heads. Where as the Hydra was a single shot and a manual detonate. So the Hydra was beat at what it did from the start.

And even now with all the changes the Hydra still stays as blue tier gun it has no rolls. And the only way to get the Hydra is to buy the deluxe upgrade for 19.99 for consoles or by the Deluxe Edition on PC for 29.99. But the Hydra might as well be just a grey-tier gun since it has no rolls on it. Now granted you get 30 day XP boost, inventory slots, and Infiltrator Outfit for buying the Deluxe. But for 20$ the Hydra should be better then what it is for sure. At least give it blue-tier rolls for being a blue tier gun, it has nothing.

I still use the firestorm even though its stats were played about I find that the fire effect does help in arkfalls although it is waste for so many arkcodes for those levelling ar skills early
