Does the Xbox 360 version have a reasonable population?
I got the Ultimate Edition for PS3 at launch last year, and I had a ton of fun with the game. Long story short, I no longer own a PS3 and picked up a 360 copy for $10 at Walmart. I've seen two other people in the game today, and had to attempt a major arkfall alone. Is it maybe because I just started a new character? Are there multiple servers and maybe I got put on a bad one?

What I really want to know is whether or not it's even worth investing my time again, or did I just waste $10?

Most people are either in arkbreaks, or in San fran. There are plenty on Xbox though.

Awesome! Glad to hear it. I felt more sad at the thought nobody else was on than I did about my $10. I guess I'll just grind my way across the bridge then.

You could always try joining a clan. You might find people to play with that way.

Did you just start playing? When my collector's edition arrived last week (I've been playing on PC since August but with my site need 360 and PS3 data for testing) and I started things up it was a ghost town, I think I saw one other person those first few hours. When I quit for the night and started it up again in the morning it was common to see over 100 dots on the mini-map at a major arkbreak and ark stacking was difficult so many people playing they were finishing off the arks faster than I could fast travel and drive to them lol

Remember sometimes the instancing is flaky so if it seems empty try logging off and then right back on and see if that changes the population.

This would be my guess. Going back to April 2013, I've never seen a large low pop situation on the 360... unless it was some weird hour of the night, or I was playing my (now RIP) alt over on the EU servers.

Welcome back to defiance! :D Yeah; the game is worth your $10 for sure!
Xbox EU is DEAD. Only way to put it.. (and yes, I know the game has multiple phases, but this doesn't matter much on xbox EU)
There's barely any trading. As for pvp (whether people like pvp or not), EU server has none.

Xbox NA server is where you want to be. On the NA server peeps complain that the population is shrinking, but if you've been on the EU server for a while then switch NA, it feels like a different game all together. There's always some type of pvp, there's always someone selling something and arkfalls don't "expire".

Both regions have a friendly community, xbox EU feels like a simple online game, xbox NA, like a MMO.
