Defiance has alot of the same ideas as borderlands 2

Before i start and in respect for the forums rules this post is not mean't to cause offance and may i ask no bad or offencesive words be used i would like this thread to stay open and get peoples views as it is about defiance and this forum is for ALL things defiance.Does anyone else think defiance apart from being 3rd person is alot like another game chect this out on the left is borderlands 2 on the right defiance:

Sanctury a last hope town defiance a last hope town
white to orange colour code white to orange colour code
vendors to buy stuff vendors to buy stuff
cloak/decoy as a main skill cloak and decoy as main skills
head and body custom only head and body custom only
roller with a gun roller looks the same but without a gun
types of bullet (normal fire etc) types of bullet
types of granade types granade
types of shield types of shield
frost/dersert bugs hellbugs look more or less the same
bandits and psychos 99'ers and bandits look totally the same
story of the town shield pilot episode of defiance
putting a star on fav stuff putting a star on fav stuff

There are alot more of these points but i thought i would leave it there for the mo and FYI borderlands 2 came out over a year before defiance :)

Star Wars was set in space so therefore it must have been a rip off of Star Trek.

@Escyos: no offence but that was the most pointless remake i think i have heard from a fan boy,please name 4 more solid ways starwars and star trek are same?

What I meant was that you can find comparisons between many shows and it in no ways means that they ripped one another off. I came up for an idea for a show once and then found out (after writing a fair amount of details) that such a show almost entirely existed as I had written.

I really can't blame them for implementing alot of borderlands 2 stuff. It is a game I would argue that is the greatest of all time. As much as I love Borderlands 2, its time has come and gone. The headhunter packs are just quick money grabs for Gearbox, for people who can't get enough of the Borderlands world. The game we play now, Defiance, has alot of good going for it. However, there is almost the same amount of negative about the game. I'm afraid by the time all the wrinkles are iron out, there will be other games that will be just as fun, minus 95% of the bugs / glitches. I forgot to mention every time Trion does something good with this game, they shoot themselves in the foot with a new problem.

I totally agree with you and the thing is i like defiance i think its a good game and not once have i used the words "copy" or "ripped off" i just thought this was a light hearted post looking at how 2 games that are so close can be so far apart

Becuse this game is same genre as borderlands i called borderlands shotters.

Oh another 1 my friend just reminded me about,In borderlands you play as a vault hunter and defiance it's a ark hunter but both look for more or less the same thing :)
