Simple tweaks to boost in game morale! Pass this on Dahanese!
I've played this game since the start, and still enjoy it for the most part. Sometimes though, it's depressing to play all day with nothing to show for it. Here's my little list of things that would improve at least my morale playing this game! Some of these can be considered fixes, but mostly these are just simply things the Devs could do to keep us more interested.

    1. Adjustment of the loot table to reward players for grinding away for hours!
    a. Lock Boxes
Legendary roll rates throughout the game could use a slight boost, even if only by a couple percent.
Tier IV Lock Boxes should have at least 1 Epic item.
Tier III & II should have a minimum of Rare items.
    b. Pick ups
Common item drops should be from common enemies (Raiders, mutants, DM Troopers).
Uncommon or Better drops from the more difficult enemies (Hellbug Warriors, Snipers, Volge Trooper).
Rare or Epic drops from top tier enemies (Bulwarks, Viscera, Monarchs, Hulker).
    c. Grenades/Stims/Spikes
These items as drops need looked at again. So sad to see loot go to waste!

    2. Adjustment to weapons:
    a. Every weapon should have a nano. Period. If the Nano doesn't work for that weapon type, fix it. If a weapon has rolled without a Nano since the weapon overhaul, add one to it. As long as there are "unicorn" weapons out there with perfect rolls and a Nano, it cannot be justified as a weapon balance to roll without one.
    b. Weapon Mastery rolls should be exciting! The 8% Dmg on next shot after kill, or 10% DMG from last shot in clip is such a disappointment! Someone have those removed!
edit: 5% DMG after a full reload (Expires after 5 seconds) could be an adequate replacement.
    c. Shotguns, Detonators & Infectors can roll Speed Boost as mastery, why not pistols? Seems like that would be fun!
    d. SMGs and Pistols would, for the most part, use the same ammo type in real life (Yes, I know this game isn't real). Can we make it so in game as well? This would require upping the pistol ammo to 500 as well.

    3. Vendors:
    a. The Headlands Transit Vendor has the outdated Tier I mods available. Can we change it to have a common variety of every weapon in game (Not including DLC only weapons)?
    b. Mod vendors should have specific weapon types only. It's very confusing having to jump to three different places (Muir, Crater, Bug-n-chug) for specific mod specials.
    c. Catalyst Injectors aren't available as synergy mods anymore. Can we get them back?
    d. Detonator/Infector Sights aren't available as Tier I or II mods. Can we add them in? Synergized & Non.
    e. Tier IV mods. Where are they? I like purple! Give em back!
    f. Mod specials that roll as non-synergy should be taken out of the game. Synergy mods drop less frequently because of them, and modding a weapon shouldn't take a weeks worth of hunting down mods.

    4. Bugs & Stability:
    a. Seems that after a long stretch of playtime, these server issues get worse. Disappointing, to get booted so often from an instance/event just because I haven't restarted my game.
    b. It's been suggested that the Devs play a couple hours a week on each platform, and on real time servers. Is this being implemented, or is testing still done on the in-house servers?

I'm sure the community has more to say about these topics, but I think some of these suggestions would be fairly simple to adjust. Hopefully they'll get looked at soon!

Yes! Yes! Yes! In the name of all that is holy, this definitely needs a change... stat!

(Wish I could vote up this thread, the OP has a number of good ideas.)

thoses masteries can do good when left only for low-cap guns - detonators, RLs and Sawed-Offs. but not on a 100-mag Nomads :/

also it wouldn't hurt to bump up ammo capacity at all.

Your pissing into the wind on this one.
Trion does not listen to it's player-base.
Trion only listens to SyFy where Defiance is concerned.

i agree with OP something needs to be changed this game is dying and TRION either doesnt know or doesnt care....the fact that there is noone on the alpha test server and there are problems with the upcoming dlc that arent being fixed is a clear indicator

While they might be "ok" rolls for low round weapons, I would still be happier with a roll that didn't require such specific circumstance. It's a completely unexciting bonus, and needs looked at. For example, if it was: 5% Dmg after a full reload (Expires after 5 seconds) or something else that may help with high health enemies. The 8% DMG on next shot after a kill is 99% ineffective during a Warmaster instance, or when trying to take out a Hulker. The 10% DMG from last shot in clip seems to always roll on high mag capacity weapons, and therefore is also quite sad to see.

I certainly hope that is not the case. Some of my ideas would not take many resources to change, and would spark a little life back into the game. It's common knowledge that developers like to implement their own ideas in any project that they made, but it never hurts to brainstorm with others to make it better! Hopefully ego and pride don't get in the way of making this game a little bit more fun!

I agree completely - I wish this game would improve.
However, you cannot escape the fact that for whatever reason; Trion is running this game into ground.

Sadly it is precisely the case.

And someone will say soon - "this thread belongs in the Suggestions forum" - then it'll be relegated to that section of the forum where it can be properly ignored.

I'd thought about putting this in "Suggestions" but I feel that boosting morale shouldn't be a suggestion. It should be openly discussed and implemented.
