You can only have 1 damage reduction from your weapon, one from your shield, and one from your perk, activate at any point. The highest damage reduction always takes precedent.
So it's still worth running cellular armor with thick skinned, you just won't benefit from both at the same time. Fortitude and regeneration were not part of the change so they always work.
So which perks am i not allow to stack. i would really like a list or link to a page that has one
Lol people are using something at the moment that makes them take about 6 shotgun shots to kill em, very strange behaviour indeed,
I captured someone doing this in shadow was last night, took 6 zagger shots very close up to kill them, will be uploading and sending it to the dev team, captured their load out too.
I think more people must have figured out the 90% damage reduction exploit. I hadn't played PVP in this game in a bit and of course it figures I run into it the other day on PC/NA in SWs. They could constantly take multiple direct shots from my big boomer and it didn't even break their shields.
I'd be nice if you could see the total effects current on yer character in a numbers sheet.
Hey, how does this work for loot drops? fer instance, if I have pinata, and just reward and cause an explosive crit, are the loot boosts additive?
FOR SCIENCE!
That's funny as hell and I understand, I often play the same way. The problem is that it's not that simple of what stacks and what doesn't.
For example Lets Say you have the following perks equipped and maxed.
Rear Guard - Take 45% Less Damage From Behind
Cellular Armor -Take 6% Less Damage
At any time the higher bonus is supposed to be in effect. In this instance walking around you get 6% Less Damage always. However if you get shot in the back it is now 45% Less Damage. They used to stack to where that would have been a total of 51% before. They don't anymore so you only get get the 45% from being shot in the back. If then you get shot in the front, that bonus is 6% Less Damage.
They don't stack but they still work together fine. I hope that helped and I didn't just add to your confusion.
Rear Guard
Samaritan
Combat Medic
Detachment
Thick Skinned
Failsafe
Fortified Stance
Cellular Armor
Hunker Down
Crash Test Dummy
In The Trenches
Those are all the damage reduction perks. Whichever has the highest damage reduction for the specific situation, it takes precedence. None of them are cumulative.
