I agree with you on this one. Half the episodes looked like they were recycled old western scripts. You could take the script, plot, and most of the dialog and drop it in to a American revaluation show, a western, a WWII show, or even Australia when it was a prison colony. The plot/story was thin and quite predictable; I mean who didn't know that what's his name was going to end up as the new lawkeeper in the fist 10 minutes of the pilot? And don't get me started on the drivel that fell out of their mouths they called dialog.

More over when you have to depend on partial nudity and and soft core sex to get your ratings up, you know the show is lame.

I started by playing the game 3 weeks ago or so.

It made me want to watch the show, which I did and I must admit I liked all the episodes. It's a matter of taste of course but I like many things in the show, especially how there are several plots going in parallel, many twists, and many of the recurring characters have nice strong personalities and background.

One of my favorite character is the indogen doc, Yewl I believe she's called. :o

When playing the game and doing the mission to launch the missile I was extremely happy to kind of feel I was part intermingled with the show episode about the plague. And more generally also when seeing all kinds of stuff in the show that are also in the game : volges attack, hellbugs, etc...

I don't know about the character being hot but the actress certainly is http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2276274/?ref_=tt_cl_t10

I'm kind of hoping that the second season is successful enough to pull the game out of the heap.

If season 2 is better; and that wouldn't take much, it might draw in a lot of new players, that will be experiencing the same bugs and issues we do now. As in play the game, get upset by it, come on the forum and gripe, then quit playing. Problem is too many game developers depend on transient players to make a profit with out realizing it's the long term players that pay the bills.
