    Floating objects at incursions and other issues
    What is causing objects such as camp fires, sandbag barricades, and trucks etc. to float off of the ground. It just makes it look like the whole thing was haphazardly slopped together. I just wish that more devs could be allocated to work on Defiance. It has so much potential. It just needs some TLC.

    I probably won't be doing Incursions until some major issues get worked out or less people are playing them. It sucks trying to compete against 100 players all desperately just trying to land a few hits on a few enemies. Half the time you can't see the other players. I know they are there because as soon as an enemy appears they are engulfed in mass of cold fire blasts and hatchlings. When you can see the other players, is impossible to track enemies due to all of the visuals. I almost feel bad for the mutants. It's like they aren't even given a chance. Maybe this is just the nature of the "death march" but I don't find this aspect of the game to be entertaining in its current state. I guess to each his own. I still find the game to entertaining in general though. It will be nice when we get some more story based content. Wishful thinking?

    The floating objects are probably caused by the same things that have caused floating objects to appear at regular emergencies since launch: poor coding and lack of testing.

    I agree here. Drive around and youll notice its not just in incursions. There are quite a few were the ammo is box always spawns floating.

    Now the biggest issue im seeing with these is the framerate. I for one noticed it slow down to a point where it freezes and I have to eject the game out the disk tray. Guess you could call it a soft freeze?

    There has always been floating objects within the game and yes I do agree with you that with all the people that incursion are turning into a total yawn fest.

    Sorry to be that guy resurrecting a thread, but got a few screenshots I thought worthy of general discussion. Maybe get some feedback from someone on the dev team *hint hint* as to if this is something they are trying to fix or at least is a "known issue".

    you shouldnt apologize for resurrecting a thread if the one you are resurrecting one that points out a recurring problem that months later has not been addressed or fixed. in fact i wish more people would go back through old threads and bump ones that we are still having issues with today. it would be a nice visual reminder of how few times things get fixed that we actually WANT fixed.

    Floating objects are quite funny sometimes, what annoys me is the sunken objects and enemies, especially when they're arkfall enemies or objective interactables, is that part of the same issue?

    I was in a SF incursion and one emergency had the ammo crate wedged into a wall. Of course it doesn't beat having an emergency drop on you and be stuck in a rock. That happened twice. It was either extract across the map or wait until it's over.

    I see this issue quite a lot and was wondering if it was due to lag but as I'm seeing here it probably is not. I hope they fix it someday, it doesn't affect the gameplay or anything but it is really weird to look at and play around..

    Try doing a major hellbug arkfall, when the Hellion is floating. It is interesting that the underside is so detailed when we aren't supposed to be able to walk under them. lol

    Then there's the hellion bug outside the arkfall when it's supposed to be inside it, doesn't take damage until it gets released, but it's so detailed too, looks like it's curled up sleeping, again odd as were not even supposed to see it in that stage, I always assumed that when it flew back into the arkfall it would despawn until it was released again, but apparently it goes for a nap

    I wonder if the matrons are all already inside the arkfall too sleeping, waiting to be released

    Did one of those - ended up using my matchlock boomer on it because the symbiote wasn't showing.

    Found a sweet spot that damaged the symbiote and managed to finally nail it.

    I used to have a picture of the Dark Matter boss collapsed mid-air. Interesting thing there was that it was behaving properly for most of the match, and just magically teleported about ten feet straight up at one point.

    I fought one battle where I had to jump and press 'e' at the peak of my arc in order to reload from an ammo box.

    Enemies spawning inside objects are also bad at times. I played a Kenn Farm incursion where the game decided one of the Afflicted spawn points would be inside a rock, which kept us from ending waves early. By the end of the event, at least four Afflicted had been spawned inside that rock.

    It is also not particularly fun when you go to a "Destroy the crystal" Arkfall only to find that there is no crystal to destroy. I don't know if the game is just spawning it underground, or just not bothering to spawn it at all.
