I believe its party only. There's a chat box you can bring up but not many people use it from what i seen. Use a chat pad on your controller, or use a usb keyboard, just about any work. I myself use a logitech k120, just a cheap little $15 keyboard.

wahoo it works in pvp....now i have to listen to 12 year olds play pvp and talk high pitched. god its global agenda all over again...
Yeah in PVP it works. The chat thing is cool if you have a chatpad, its so handy!
