Weapon Disappeared and Loadout is disabled

I attempted to mod an assault rifle while having my VBI Firestorm equipped. After Modding the rifle I returned to my loadout and my Firestorm had disappeared, and my primary slot shows to be blank even though it shows that I am holding a rifle. The worst thing about this is that my loadout is completely disabled, I can not select anything and change it. I tried logging out and restarting the game, but it is still the same. I understand that trion is working on the game, but I believe it is mainly connectivity issues. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Yes dude this happened to me too! I am so freaking frustrated about it! I modded my wep waited 9 mins came back to open my inv and I have no primary wep and I wasn't able to go in my inventory to equip/I equip anything in that first screen. But I was able to move up-down-left-right on all the other screens. Idk wtf is up. I don't want to have to delete that character now. Since it is my main. Freaking lvl 187 and ****.

Unfortunately, restarting may be the only option if it isn't fixed soon. This is one of those bugs that should have been worked out during beta...

Well I put something to mod and then decided to do an instance. When I loaded the instance for some ODD reason I was wielding the weapon I had JUST put to add a mod.. and now my favorite Assault Rifle is gone, I can't switch weapons, AND I can't even get into edit anything in the load-out screen. I submitted a thing to support about it.. did you guys do the same? Maybe they can roll it back to a previous save for your character (which is what I am hoping)

lost my launcher the same way.

I'm having the same issue right now & on top of it can't seem to find the EMC XAR-22, which I had just fully modded. :(

Happened to me this morning as well, with the very same VBI Firestorm equipped as my primary. I logged on this morning and it was just blank, and it was no where to be found in my inventory. Hope they find a fix for this because I really liked using that AR.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. All the extra DLC, weapons, etc.. are tied to that character as well and do not appear on a NEW character, so its all gone. If I had spent money on the character I would be really pissed right now.
I am betting that the culprit is the fact that I was in process of modding a weapon(within the 10 min period) and I teleported to friend and thats when it happened.

wait the DLC stuff are linked to your account not character. If you make a new character you get all those proficiencies, DLC outfits, Vehicles n such (assuming you got all the arkfall codes). The only thing that was a 1 time use was the boosts and the lockboxes. Make a new character and AFTER getting past the tutorial (where you set off that reactor or w/e) check the store and go to Claim Items. I just did it, so its confirmed. If it does not appear, then there is something wrong with your account, get in touch with support to see whats up.

I managed to fix this issue by picking up one of those temporary "special weapons" that you find laying around in the game. I did not get my lost weapon back however.

OK so I have an answer for you guys that are stuck and can't switch weapons. Apparently if you find a weapon on the floor, hold down the action button (for xbox its X) and switch the current weapon with the looted weapon. That will fix the glitch where you can't switch weapons. If you lost an item from the glitch, go to support live chat and if you have the name of the weapon they will look into the logs to confirm that you in fact did have that weapon and give it back (don't think you can have them give u anything you want, life does not work that way sorry). I did all of this and now my character is good as new.

Awesome. I will try that once the servers are back up...if ever. I don't even care about the lost weapon, I just would like to alter my loadout. I can equip other weapons from my inventory, but I can't equip my secondary or any new perks, etc. I submitted a ticket the day this happened, and I haven't heard any reply, which I understand due to all the other issues.

There is something you guys should look out for. After I had fixed being able to edit my loadout, I noticed that there was a phantom item taking up an inventory space. I would assume it's the item that was lost. I counted only 22 items in my inventory yet the number at the bottom said I had 23. After talking to support through the live chat feature, we were unable to resolve the problem and they had to transfer me to a higher level of support. They are suppose to contact me via email in a day or two. I know it's just one inventory slot, but I still hope I can get it back.

This might be a stupid question but, what slot was the missing weapon in? For me it was the main slot of my second loadout. I'm just curious if it was the same slot for the rest of you.

go to your inventory tab, and change out your weapons, the firestorm existed in your inventory, but the loadout is not loading it, by manually equiping a weapon frmo a alternate screen it will force the loadout to update, effectively refreshing it and unlocking it.

i've notice this bug happened when weapons are in the middle of mod slots being added or otherwise engaged in the salvage matrix and the servers have a hiccup.

force equiping a weapon from inventory or ground via hold x has fixxed it for me in the past.

I got this bug attempted to go into a shadow war. Can anyone tell me where one of these special weapons might be that I can equip? I don't want to run around like this waiting for something to drop. Equiping from inventory didn't help)

I figured out a work around. When I hit equip from an inventory item, I couldn't select the broken (blank) slot, but if I hit d-pad right for compare mode then selected, everything fixed itself.

:D Worked Perfectly... had to pick up two of those weapons but it unlocked my loadouts. THANK YOU!!!!

I just posted about this bug because this thread did not show lol but this solution sounds good to me. To the game!!! lol

I have since come across the same problem today since i downloaded the patch. I submitted a issue to help desk and posted on the patch issue page and now found this forum post so i will try to pick up the special weapon and see what happens.
