Free extra inventory slots

I would get free extra inventory slots every +500ego, but for the past 1000 ego, I havent gotten any.

near 4000 ego. Ive missed the last 2 times.
However, I have bought some within those times.
So I wonder if bought slots count.
Example: You're due +5 slots, but you bought +15 before then so maybe I get zilch until +1500ego....

Ah yes fuzz thanks! This would explain it. Im near 4000 ego, but not quite there yet. My last inventory unlock being almost 2000 ego ago explains why I was wondering wtf. :)
