How do you add mods to ur weapons?

just wondering.......

Just go to your menu and click on your weapon loadout, select the gun you would like to modify and another menu pops up allowing you to equip it to your gun.

24 minutes to understand weapons modding?
Can anyone just explain in short?
I have weapons, I have mods that seems to fit (shotgun mods for shotguns, etc.), I have enough money.
I go to matrix, select weapon and mod and nothing happens. Is it bug? Is there some additional requirement for mod that Trion failed to explain?

You can only place mods in mod slots. If your weapon doesn't have mod slots you can add them, as long as you are Ego Level 100+ and you need the green currency.

NOTE: Weapon cannot be equipped in any loadout when you try to mod it.

Adding mod slots is random, first slot is free each slot after that costs ark salvage (green currency) and the cost doubles with each new mod slot being added.

To add a mod to a slot, select weapon to modify, the slot you want to modify and which mod you want to insert there. Click start action at the bottom of the screen and it will ask you to confirm. After that the mods are installed.

Press I for your inventory panel, or L for loadouts. Then mouse up to the second icon from the left which is Salvage Matrix.

Double click the "select item" panel, and then find the weapon you want to mod and double click it in the inventory list. The item will be placed in the selected item list and will offer you options of "breakdown item", "attach mods", "remove mods" (if any installed), and "Add mod slots" (if you have that option available).

Some weapons won't allow modding at all, so you may see "no options available".

Select the option you want, like "add mod" and then it will show you the available mod slots on the weapon. Select the mod slot you want to use... it will then show you any mods you have for that weapon that fit that slot. Select the mod... then use the "START ACTION" button to perform the modification.

Im playing on the xbox and when i try to add a mod and can do all that but when i press on the mod it comes up with a blank screen that i can scroll up and down on ive heard people say start action but i cant get to it. The game is new so it might be a bug

I'm playing on PS3, but I can't mod weapons.

I have a pistol, and a pistol mod, but when I select the items all the options are greyed out. Do I have to be a certain level to begin modding?

You have to be ego 100 to add mod slots to weapons. 250 to retrieve mods. All the other options are lower level than that.

It sounds like you've figured out how to mod your weapons. From your description of the problem... you don't have any mods for your current weapon to add.

There are four mods slots:

Butt
Barrel
Magazine
Sight

Additionally you need a mod for the specific weapon which is of the following:

BMGS
Detnotators
Rocket Launchers
Pistols
LMGs, Assault Rifles, SMGs
Infectors
Shotguns

So if you have a shotgun with an available magazine slot you would need a shotgun magazine to add to that weapon. You currently don't have one for your weapon which is why you don't see anything in the list.

If you goto the Iron Demon Ranch you'll find white mods for all weapons/slots.
