A_T is correct, of course, but there are few avenues besides telepathy to get a message to Trion, and this is one.
There are more people using XBox360 and PS3 than XBox One and PS4. With the current state of things and the current economic market (especially for game development), it would not make sense to spend the enormous amount of money on development to port the game to the newer consoles. It would simply be a money sink for no real gains. You can keep telling yourself that it would keep the game relevant, but it wouldn't. The numbers simply aren't there yet. Maybe one to two years down the road it would make sense, but not now. There simply isn't enough market saturation.

I wouldn't expect this to cross over to Xbox1 or PS4 till season 3.
Of course there will be season 2 stuff. So far we only know of one crossover - a human character called Barth who is in both show and game (or at least his voice is).
I keep saying this over and over again, it`s much easier now to port the game from the PC to PS4 or XBOX1 because the arquitecture of both consoles is the same of the PC`s. There is no more excuses that programing to Playstation is VERY HARD.
I would play it on PS4, don`t really know how much longer i can stand the tremendous lag, disconections every 5/10 minutes...my patience is starting to ware of.
I would even pay an upgrade fee like i did for COD Ghosts to play on PS4.
Except Richardsson no longer work for Trion since JULY last year.. so yeah.. Im not sure why this "article" was written about something someone said 4 months before, also note that he didnt seem to think that porting a game from a console to another need works.Quote:
