    Player Maintained Master Bug List
    A master bug list, main post will be updated with reports from replies.

    Updated to post #44

    Known and Being Worked On

    - Vehicles occasionally despawn when driving

    - Rampage: Draw the Line doesn't update pursuits

    - Clan Key Bonuses

    - Commander Cronkhite

    - Episode Missions aren't showing for everyone. -- This is an issue with the Replay One Mastery. If this is not complete on your character, you will be unable to complete the Episode missions again. Gm's will advance this is you are having issues.
    Clan

    - The founder of a clan cannot kick inactive leaders within the clan
    - Leaders can promote officers to leaders
    - Some leaders (sometimes even the founder) cannot promote recruits or members even when they are online, a different leader is able to do it at the same time.
    - Sometimes clan lists don't include everyone
    - When you goto the clan list from the social clan tab and put it in reverse alphabetic order ( z - a ) and start scrolling down the list, you get so many scrolls down and it auto jumps to the top again to letter Z, doesn't do this of you start with A at the top and work down.
    - Sometimes when you look at a clan mate his title will have a green (") (should be blue) then blue text title like it should be then finished by a blue (") , the two "s should match. This may be an issue when the clan mate is on your friends list, text being part green and part blue.
    - After a player joins the clan, for a undetermined amount of time when they log off or log in to their client clan chat states they joined the clan or left the clan.
    - After reaching max EGO Rating clan contribution seems to be reduced

    Social

    - You still can't use the 'find player' option in the game to search for someone.
    - When you get disconnected or relog into the game, your friends list doesn't populate correctly and stays blank or only has 1 or 2 people on it, even though your friends are online, get a group invite from them and they reappear on the friend list instead of taking a while and I mean a while to appear naturally.

    UI

    - When logging in we are seeing messages about new co-op maps being available
    - As a PC user I've noticed some input lag when using the new chat system often resulting in missing out letters that I am typing
    - The grenades, spikes, stims etc. buttons used to show the keybind timers as "1 2 3". Now I have "& é "" which is not really intuitive, and I also saw a couple of other players' screenshot with "numpad numpad numpad"
    - The Paradise vendor label on the map is missing information
    - Specials seem to be missing from vehicle vendors

    Events

    - Sometimes we don't have two incursions spawned per instance
    - There are some issues with incursions disappearing or not progressing or a required emergency not spawning.
    - Sometimes arkfalls or incursions end with no ending screen and no rewards for participation
    - Arkfalls which require special weapons to drop in order to destroy the crystal sometimes do not drop weapons either at or, or not enough.
    - Incursions and Arkfalls can overlap blocking progress from each of them.
    - Sometimes a few ark spike locations are missing e.g. 2/4
    - Sometimes when you call down an major arkfall, it doesn't call down anything and ends
    - Sometimes npcs outside of arkbreaks get caught in terrain and the arkbreak can't progress due to not all the enemies being killed
    - Progenitor boss fights sometimes you get knocked back when the arms are destroyed but don't know where from

    Specific Missions or Events

    - "Easy as Fila, Kama, Dunya" mission sometimes does not spawn NPCs in the target areas Video
    - "Dark Matter Convoy" emergency sometimes has unique weapons visible on the crates before they are opened. Some of the weapons cannot be picked up after the crates are opened.
    - Lost in Transit mission turn-in at Top-Notch Toolworks sometimes doesn't have a delivery box
    - The time trial pursuits in San Francisco are not updating for me.
    - East Shore Docks when doing the mission Down at the Docks reward nothing even though they keep score
    - Sutro Tower conflict as part of Radio Silence mission rewards nothing
    - Dogtown Mine is not keeping score during the mission A Bullet for a Badman

    Weapons

    - Typhoon rifles can't display added mods
    - Mods or rolls which give a BMG Heal or DMG bonuses > 1.x make your weapon worse.

    Other

    - Enemies can pop in and out of phases, they can continue to hit you while doing so.
    - Kenn Farm Siege has an extraction point that takes you out of the siege.
    - Conflict Sites sometimes grant no keycodes even though we actively helped (so we didn't just shoot at one enemy or something).
    - Ammo has been disappearing from weapons, after a loading screen you need to visit the box again.
    - It is reported that Sensor Sweep perk because does not work frequently.
    - [NEED CLARIFICATION] There are unspecified issues with the login queue
    - When you are in tutorial at the point where you acquire your starter weapon out of the supply crate you lose an inventory slot. Something happens when the weapon goes to your secondary weapon slot. It thinks it should be in your inventory and that takes up a spot. But there is nothing there and you lose one inventory space because of it.
    - Vehicles can no longer be spun mid-jump if the forward key is held.
    - In some cases the vehicle isn't as responsive as it once was and appears to require you to slow down in order to exit the vehicle
    - FOV Shift no longer seems to work since DLC 4

    PS3

    - Many functions (map, radial menu, loadouts, swapping between weapons in your loadout, spawning vehicles, moving into a new area, anything after fast travel, entering a conflict zone, accessing a vendor, and spawning of enemies) begin to lag soon after you begin playing, quickly reaching the point that every new combat begins with at least a few seconds of you being unable to return fire against the invisible enemies shooting you and swapping weapons often leaves you cradling an invisible weapon that you can't use until it eventually gets around to loading, and becoming progressively worse until you critical error roughly an hour after you begin playing. Every. Damn. Time.
    - In my somewhat limited testing, getting more than one of these critical errors in a session will usually cause Defiance to crash when you try to exit the game, characterized by a black screen with several rows of discontinuous white pixels at the top of the screen, and can, in some cases, lead to PS3 reboots or freezes. Exiting Defiance completely after a critical error seems to help to avoid the crashes, reboots, and freezes.

    I don't think you should list any as questions. If it's a bug, it's a bug. The inquiries would be best left to the Livestream threads. For instance:

    - Kenn Farm Siege has an extraction point outside of the siege, is this something that is going to be addressed?

    This is a question. There is an extraction point at Kenn farm and it works. It might be more beneficial to change the placement of said extraction point but it works. It isn't a bug, just poor design.

    I agree, and I'll be going through some of them and changing the phrasing soon. To populate the initial list I did just base it off the questions.

    Although there have been numerous posts asking for a stickied list from the official staff, we never got it. Now who better than you to maintain that list? I guess no one. Thanks for taking the time to do that.

    A small contribution :

    surly on PC you can re-bind your keys? turn it back to 1,2,3?

    Some of us with Razor naga mouse like to use the buttons on that to our key binds, when you do so you are using the numpad functions so EGO power, stims, and spikes will show up as numpad numpad numpad. There is not enough space to fit all the text required, they can simply use a shorthand however for the description. Something like Num 1.

    When you goto the clan list from the social clan tab and put it in reverse alphabetic order ( z - a ) and start scrolling down the list, you get so many scrolls down and it auto jumps to the top again to letter Z, doesn't do this of you start with A at the top and work down.

    Suggestion: add a find player option to the clan member list in social tab for easy location to promote/kick.

    Suggestion: add a banned character/member option to the clan so officers don't accidentally invite unwanted players into the clan who are unaware of the fact. Our clan is large and this would be very useful.

    TRION is aware of the vehicle de-spawning bug and currently don't have a hot-fix for it.

    They are the same keys. On QWERTY it would be ! @ # instead of 1 2 3 . You know, "!" turns into "1" with caps lock activated, right? If I ask you where 4 is, you can find it with your eyes closed. Now if I tell you "press $", that's a whole different story. Minor stuff, granted, but IF I want to re-bind keys, I'm having a hard time reading them then.

    Episode Missions aren't showing for everyone.

    Log in que is screwed.

    Commandeer Cronkite is screwed ad won't progress unless everyone kills themselves in some sort of weird suicide pact cult.

    Will add more as I think of them...

    Reading thru everything here, I'm not sure this was intended to be a PC bug/issue only thread. If so, I just wanted to point out almost everything reported so far happens on PS3 as well - one big exception is the key binding issue, of course we don't have that problem.

    PS3 stability problem/memory leak/whatever they're calling it this week

Every. Damn. Time.

    In my somewhat limited testing, getting more than one of these critical errors in a session will usually cause Defiance to crash when you try to exit the game, characterized by a black screen with several rows of discontinuous white pixels at the top of the screen, and can, in some cases, lead to PS3 reboots or freezes. Exiting Defiance completely after a critical error seems to help to avoid the crashes, reboots, and freezes.

    I had to search this thread 10 minutes. I knew it was somehwere, I just didn't know where.
    Here are bugs from all three platforms... It's a general list of major bugs and in this section nobody sees the thread...

    Then, another bug.
    What the hell is happening with Incursions?
    Every emergency is done and when it should get to the Siege part, the Incursion just disappears.
    It happend TWO TIMES in a row now in Madera. Yesterday I saw it in Mt. Tam.

    Commandeer Cronkite has a bug where when you load into the map at the start of the matchmaking que it hangs and kicks you out to the main screen and you get the usual error and have to re log into the game, happerns again and again, you just cant get into the coop map!!!!! most of our clan has the same problem, then once in a blue moon it will let you in.

    all of my posts in this topic are xbox EU related.

    It might be possible that some players aren't affected. All people I have asked are though. Things you have equipped aren't supposed to count as being in your inventory. So one slot is missing...

    This. The thread has been moved without leaving a tracker, which wasn't... nice. I had to check Etaew's profile and his posts to find where that thread went.

    Trion team never wanted / never had time to maintain a thread like this one, but since a player takes the time to do it, can we at least get help? So, Dear moderators, PR people and CM, may we obtain a sticky link, from the General Forum to this thread ? Thanks! As a side note, I sure hope Etaew got his "honorable" title as well, for all the hard work he has put into this game for so long, his willingness to help and his good spirit.

    Please add: ending of Incursions/AF's with no reward (points, key, item(s)).
    No ending screen comes up.

    Had this 4 times yesterday.

    EDIT: I use Firefox, and I have all important links hard-tabbed (AKA Pinned).
    Works like a charm, though 62 pages active seems to slightly slow down Firefox. XD

    I had a minor arkfall ending screen come up literally 10mn after it was completed. Might be lag, or a problem with how these things are queued (kinda like how time trials ending screen wouldn't show else I popped the map open, back when I was doing them).

    Side mission : Easy as Kama, Fila, blabla...
    Enemies do not appear in the highilgthed zone. Tried to abandon/restart, tried restarting the game a few days later, still no luck. Dug up an old thread mentioning a possible fix by jumping shards, didn't try that yet.

    Dark Matter Convoy emergency ("search the crates")
    Some of the unique weapons are visible on the crates before the crates are opened.
    Some of the unique weapons cannot be picked up even after the crates are opened.

    *EDIT* let's add this one :
    Reputation : it should be made clearer that the rep points spent on faction vendors DO add up for improving rep status / unlocking pursuits. Many players think they have to save them up instead.

    Vehicles can no longer be spun mid-jump if the forward key is held. This makes controlling runners nearly impossible in and outside of time trials, and is infuriating to players used to the previous setup.

    Apparently, mods or rolls that give BMG x1.?? DMG charge or x1.?? Heal charge actually make the weapons worse, since the charge % goes up, and that seems to be a bad thing (as in it burns ammo faster since % is higher).

    The Commander Cronkite bug doesn't require something quite as dramatic as actual suicide to workaround. Simple extraction will suffice (type /extract on PC in chat). In addition to the extraction, only 1 of the players shoud activate the entry while all four players stand on the entry circle.

    When I call down a minor arkfall, often the mobs get stuck inside geometry or under the map. This happens mainly when their exit point ends up being located inside geometry or under geometry. The arkfall can't progress, you can't simply ignore the mobs and enter the arkfall as defeating the mobs is key in getting the arkfall to open up.

    This is a game breaking issue as it, well, breaks that arkfall making it unable to be completed. This is not a rare occurence, it happens roughly half of the time. It wastes an ark spike.

    In case my signature text is glossed over, this is on the PC.

    Progenitor Spontaneous Knockbacks
    I was recently reminded of this possible bug because it was totally out of hand at a Scrapper Major Arkfall last night on PC NA. Sometimes when you're at at the Progenitor boss fight in a Major Arkfall and the Progenitor is loose repairing the Scrapper arms you get randomly tossed back, as if hit by one of the arm shockwave attacks. There is nothing in the area to which this can be attributed, The actual arms are down and there are no Scrappers that do shockwave attacks in the area. If this is an intentional random effect for the Progenitor fight let's ask the Development Team to clarify that so we can put the issue to rest. I'm okay with that given how weak the Progenitor is compared to other bosses, but if it's not intentional let's get acknowlegment of that as well.

    I've been wondering for a while now why it felt like someone put glue in the seat of my car. I just found out that players can no longer roll out of vehicles at high speeds (like we previously were able to). Vehicles must now be slowed to a certain speed in order to roll out/exit from the vehicle.
