So there is the pistol but not the rifle like on the screenshots there ?

Army of the Potomac American Civil War uniforms, and Remington 1858 New Army percussion cap revolvers with a picatinny rail?

I do honestly like the old west feel to these outfits as opposed to power armor and tight pants, but wonder if they look a little too old fashioned. They should show some element of future / current technology.

Well I hope the Revolvers in the game got fixes as well before they introduce a new one.

Well those outfits are certainly a surprise and not a good one either. I was trying to keep an open mind for what was coming but was also expecting something a little more New Vegas, you know post apocalyptic leather jackets, big boots and lots of dirt and... well brown. Did not expect 200 year old historically accurate LARP costumes and don't think they should have any place in the defiance universe of 2045.

The pistol look kinda alright when modded up just hope it has more use than the surge pistol but overall very disappointed with the costumes.

Agreed, I expected some "wild west" inspired post apocalyptic style outfits, not Civil War re-enactment costumes. :(

My advice to TRION, go watch some FIREFLY, think space western, and at least deliver Coopers hat and a poncho.

(Red Dead Redemption will always be one of my all-time favorites of Rockstar's games!)

I thought this was Defiance but apparently it's Firefly.

3/10 disappointed again. I hope the pistol is fun with a crazy crit. The joker outfit is ok, but...meh

Balderdash, I say... Balderdash and rubbish.

It's not that bad, and I don't want to criticize again, it's just that I would like to see something new, with the fantastic lore that has Defiance, it's a shame that we have zombies, samurais and now cow-boys...

We have see new thing in the show, with the Irathian's "spirit magic", they could use this to propose a new group of npc and stuff, or something with the indogene and their technology, even wild liberata, or a mystic story with the gulanite, I don't know something that we don't see in other games.

What would you expect from someone who put a big Monkey in an Arkfall. Steampunk would have been great,anything a little more Apoclyptic. I wouldn't be surprised about the smurfs,or something from Trove or their other games, but that would be the last day I would play.
I think the Developers don't realize the mindset of the players originally attracted to this game.

To be honest, the only outfit I want for my character is a worn, tattered, dirty black duster. A pair of ripped up blue jeans. Not cargo pants. Not trousers. Blue jeans. a good pair of black leather boots. A sky blue t-shirt and bandanna.

Hey, I liked firefly even though it couldn't make up it's mind if it wanted to be a space opera or a horse opera lol

I do like most of the costumes, but some modernizing would have been better. Especially in the uniforms. But ya, as is they look like they were just ported from RDR.
