We're a fairly casual clan. We try to keep the rules and the drama to a minimum. We do our best to help each other out and to make sure that everyone in the clan gets an invite to Warmasters, etc.
Having a microphone is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory. Irritating people and *******s will be given the boot.
We are always recruiting, and always willing to help a newbie get started. If you want a clan invite, just ask.
The Wildcards are going to have a clan meeting (does that sound racist? it feels a little racist.) on Saturday, March 15. I will be online at around 8:00 AM (US east coast time), and will be on for most of the day. I encourage all clan members to at least drop in for a little while.
Events:
1. Clan XP and skill bonuses.
2. Arkfalls, incursions, co-op, etc.
3. A good chance to work on pursuits (co-op with friends, PvP with friends, trade with friends, etc.)
4. Pretty much anything else that the group wants to do.
Please buy $5 worth of bits before Saturday. On Saturday, buy yourself an XP bonus and a skill bonus. If we work in groups, these bonuses will combine with those of other group members. That means a 40% XP boost from group members, 7% from the clan boost, plus other boosts the clan has earned in specific events. This will be a great chance for everyone to boost their ego.
Also, please try to add other clan members as friends so that we can fast travel to each other.

No worries, Copperpot. Drop in when you can. I plan to be on until at least 7 PM eastern time, step away for a while, and maybe jump back in later. But I have no doubt that there will be people online to keep the party going.
Don't apologize for missing the event. It's a game, not the army. Show up when you can. If Saturday goes well, I'd like to have more meetings on a fairly regular basis.
And by the way, what should we call this thing on Saturday? I grew up in the south, so "clan meeting" and "clan rally" don't sound too good to me. ;)
Well if the disconnects aren't better by saturday I might not be able to play at all. We can call it "If you can stay connected, you win!" lol I hope they can at least get the problems back down to where it was before the latest dlc....

Just a little note to say thanks for having this clan and all the in game invites for activities. Hopefully the servers will improve and not crash so much.

Sorry to hear that Duke. I finished a WM with you I think. Not killed but finished. I must say I had a real good time finishing some contracts with some other Wildcards members. I'll be ready to try another event with you though.
I have the last DLC and am at the last arena I think. Pretty much you try to survive to just beat the arena but you score higher like any other one to get silver and gold. I think you were shooting bottles of boost medicine or whatever it's called in game to keep it out of the hands of the bad guys. There are weapons in the arenas that automatically trigger EGO powers. I like the overcharge pistol the best I think. I haven't seen one for cloak yet, which is what I use when playing solo.
The DC's are bothersome. More so when you are in a group event. Hopefully they will get better.

Our clan rating is 1500, which gives us a clan rank of 2. I founded the clan at the end of December. We have a core group of very active players, and we're always on the lookout for people who play the game regularly. We also have a pair of serious traders who can get their hands on pretty much whatever you need at a fair price. We try to make sure that everyone gets an invite to warmasters, sieges, etc.
I'd be happy to send you a clan invite, or you can talk to any of the leaders or officers in the clan. They should be able to invite you as well. If you have any questions, let me know.

I'd like to schedule another clan event some time in April before the next DLC drops and breaks the servers. Well, breaks them even more than they are already. Is there any particular date that would work well?
Also, I would encourage everyone to get a mic for the clan event day so that we can coordinate. You can use the hands-free bluetooth device for your cell phone as a mic for the ps3. If you aren't sure how to do that, let me know and I'll post some instructions here. If I can do it, anyone can.
There are enough of us with the arkbreaker DLC that we could easily crush a dozen warmasters if we worked together.
I will price a usb mic this weekend. The clan weekend war master sounds like a great idea.

Thanks for the offer. I'd love to get a big crew together so that we can kill warmasters without having to wait 20 minutes each time for enough people to show up. If we get something scheduled, I'll let you know. I'll also send you a friend request next time I'm on. If I get in to a warmaster, I'll send you an invite, and then you can invite your people.

Yeah, I thought we needed a banner. I found the drawing of the skull online, and then put the banner together in photoshop. I'm pretty pleased with it, but I can modify it if anyone has any suggestions. I was thinking of extended the red area at the bottom a little so that each clan member could add on their gamer tag or a brief message.
Also, I'd like to get a clan event organized for Saturday, the 19th. Same idea as last time, but hopefully the servers will be more stable so that we can actually work together without getting disconnected every 5 minutes. I'd like to help the newer clan members out by crushing a dozen warmasters (for the loot and experience) and running them through the co-op maps and showing them where the data recorders are (for the easy ego boost). I also want to encourage people to get on the microphone and help each other out when they are playing the game, and just bring the clan together a little more. And kill stuff. Kill lots and lots of stuff.
I'll start telling people about the 19th. If anyone has any suggestions for what we should do on the 19th, let me know.

You can add a line of text at the bottom to customize the banner. Put whatever you want. Change as often as you like. No rules. Or stick with the earlier version.
Duke - I was having a super cool time tonight, but that last dc I just couldn't be bothered to reconnect. I hope you guys understood right away. I wouldn't want you to be waiting around for me.
No worries. I've done the ... I was going to call it a rage quit, but it's more of a frustration quit when you dc one time too many and decide to call it a night. We'll try again another time.
Duke Thank Med for me for the OJ's he gave me. After reading all the complaints about the new DLC I think I will be out for quit some time. Let me know if he would like them back or even some others. I am sure with this new DLC the game will be unplayable for me. I think I am going back to World of Warplanes where I can do some real damage. I will check back next Tuesday when I get back into town and if he wants them back or if anyone else needs OJ's I would rather give them away than them go to waste.
I think that due to my experience yesterday that I won't be joining groups anymore. I don't have the ego, let alone the time, to pair up with anyone higher ego than me. I will still play, but mostly work on my side missions solo, until I figure out how to play with others. Who knows? Maybe I won't be playing I don't know. I think it's pretty stupid to have to shoot something 10,000 times in order to kill it. I know this game is fantasy, and I like that about the game (and show), but come on..... If you shoot anything that many times it would become a pile of goo.
I am going to officially cancel this weekend's clan event. I think that we all need time to figure out the new DLC. So far my experience with it has been less than favorable. With some experience, some changes in perks, some different weapons, etc., it might get better. Or Trion could roll back the strength of the enemies a little to make them not quite so invincible. But with the current level of damage and the current limitation on ammo, it's just not fun making so many trips to reload while all the enemies stand around and laugh at you. On the other hand, I mastered six detonators in about 25 minutes because the enemies were able to soak up a near-infinite amount of damage before dying. So there's that.
Copper, Overwatch: I understand why you would want to play the game less and work with others less. Check back now and then, and maybe things will get better. I'd hate to see you two go because you are two of the more active people in the clan. On the other hand, the game was fun on Monday. It's not fun today.
I need to get some more time in with the game/DLC. I've been really busy lately with work, school, life, etc. I'll play some more solo and see how it goes. Maybe I can figure out how they expected us to group up with different ego levels. I also leveled up some weapons last night, which was pretty cool.

Trion has dialed back the difficulty of the enemies in the Mount Tam region to give the newbies a better shot at survival. I'm guessing that more adjustments are on the way.
I've found that at threat level 1 (for example on the old co-op maps), my character is ridiculously overpowered. A group of us killed the final boss on a co-op map in about 20 seconds. Maybe less. Threat level 4 puts the difficultly at about what it was before the DLC. Threat level 10 is somewhat ridiculous.
I got a new shield that is higher ego, and it offers about twice the protection of my old shield. That was a big help.
Also, the color of your weapons is pretty much meaningless now. For example, I am ego 4200. My favorite weapon is an orange smg with an ego of 3100. It has all the rolls and synergy and nano that I like. But I can go to any vendor and buy a blue smg at ego 4200 and it will do far more damage than my orange smg at 3100. Obviously Trion wants me to pay to upgrade my orange smg, but I'm not sure I see the point. For 2000 script I can have a blue weapon that works now, or I can pay for the DLC, farm the currency needed for upgrades, and then have an orange weapon that works. Seems like an easy choice to me.
I had fun last night. I just need to stay out of any expert level stuff. I played an incursion which lasted seemingly forever though. I was dying to find a way to hit the restroom and refill my cup. Luckily (sarcasm) I DC'd and got my chance, lol. I was able to get back though because I noticed a clan member there that I could jump too. I got an OJ sniper too.
As for weapons, I upgraded a few but I'm still using the new stuff I pick up off the ground because they are better and I can work on mastering them and hopefully gain some EGO quicker. I think that's how it works anyhow. I'm still working on getting a better shield.
I still think it's stupid to shoot something 10,000 times and it not be dead, or a gooey pile of guts.

I don't hate the DLC any more, but I'm still not sure it's an improvement. When I think of all of the cool things that they could have done, or the basic upgrades to server stability that they still haven't done, I just shake my head.
