Weather

Not much of a big deal here, but will there be night and day cycles? Will there be rain and wind?, and so on.

In the stream, they said there will be day/night cycles. I don't think they mentioned weather.

Snow would be nice... Does the bay area ever get snow?

I think it would make game play more fun :), but weather plus alot of people could cause to much lag, on consoles anyways.

Weather is a tricky one as it usually looks really cool - but tends to tax the graphics engine. It's one of those things that is a "nice to have" not necessarily a requirement.

Yes there will be a day time/night time cycle.

And tho it is not the type of weather you are referring to, when an Ark Fall occurs in your vicinity, the weather/atmosphere around you does change.

I saw your post and I know about the weather change that occurs during arkfalls. I was asking about simple rain while doing something other than that.
