i have encountered this several times. my computer currently doubles as a personal file server and it does already have a DMZ and external access port. the thing is i am always able to connect initially but after a few hours of play i get kicked off with this error. to me it seems as though this is a server issue not a connection issue on the user end

From what I gather, the DMZ solution would solve the problem if the game is being "blocked," so wouldn't disabling firewall act as the same solution? I disabled my AVG and firewall and gave it a go, and it did not help. I still have the same problem. If I already tried disabling my firewall, should I bother trying the DMZ solution?

In computer security, a DMZ (sometimes referred to as a perimeter network) is a physical or logical subnetwork that contains and exposes an organization's external-facing services to a larger untrusted network, usually the Internet. The purpose of a DMZ is to add an additional layer of security to an organization's local area network (LAN); an external attacker only has access to equipment in the DMZ, rather than any other part of the network. The name is derived from the term "demilitarized zone", an area between nation states in which military action is not permitted.

In layman's terms: A computer in the DMZ receives all traffic blocked by the firewall, IT DOES NOT DISABLE THE FIREWALL : DMZ is setup on the router, NOT on your PC. TURN your PC FIREWALL ON!

P.S. If you are to lazy to learn about the devices on you network, you SHOULD NOT be posting for help on a forum. A clear and concise Workaround was provided. Not the posters fault that you are LAZY!
