Why do ALL Resparks have a 2.4 Delay now???!?!??

    It was all the V shields and it was clear they didn't understand the problem on the alpha server either. This is my post in a thread before

    Meant to post in this thread about the extra life shields.

    "speaking of shields..." yeah extralife shields are the same as other shields.

    What does this mean? You gave the same Legendary "Buff" to all Orange Resparks. So it means NOTHING.

    The Respark V has ZERO Benefit now over ANY other orange Respark.

    You could have had 25% HP Regen coupled with a 2.7 second delay and a Nano Resistance or you could have a 3 second delay coupled with Nano resistance and 50% HP Regen or you could have a 3 second delay, no nano resistance and 100% HP Regen.

    Do you not see the progression that has now been wiped out?

    I am confused by this post. Right now on live shield rarity determines the size of a pool of "tokens". These tokens are distributed between, on the one hand, the major stat bonus (recharge delay for Resparks and Rebels, recharge rate for Tachyons and Hurricanes, capacity for Rhinos and Ironclads) + the level of nano resistance, and on the other hand the level of the shield's mod (regen, contender, etc). So an orange Respark Regen ARK has a 3 sec delay, no nano resist and +100% regen, whereas an orange Respark Regen D has a 2.6 something delay, a 80% nano resist and +25% regen.

    Right now on alpha it looks like all shields of a given rarity have the same major stat bonus. Does this mean that the token system only distributes between nano resist and mod now? In which case, did no resist + no mod shields (purple Tachyon IV or orange Rhino V for example) just get the shaft ?

    I find it a bit disturbing that the lead developer may not have had a firm grasp of how shield rarity functioned and had the development team implement a change that has basically turned the whole thing upside down. While it requires no small amount of humility to make that admission, I hope it is done and the change reversed.

    Yeah that trick huh? I think instead of fixing this "copy paste error" the gave the shields a delay based on rarity so a legendary was always "better" than a purple. Think about it, they're not "lying".
