    Well that killed my fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
40 minutes to download a patch and then playtime!!!!!!!!!!

    TODAY I DIED MANY TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"snatch and grab" arkfall is now hard, way hard.

At a major Arkfall and when I materialized there were like 20 volge and nearly everyone around me was lying dead. Every time I revived in 2 seconds I was dead. What crap is this. There is no fun.

Everyone that was healing people also died many times. This is just ridiculous how hard it's been made.

I'm enjoying it. It was way too easy before, absolutely no challenge whatsoever. Now it's a real challenge. Makes no sense to me why they did it because the QQing will be non stop, but I like it.

This is not a "challenge". This is tedious stupid grind.

A challenge means you have a chance. When you die instantly on a spawn over and over again its not a challange its a frustrating pain in the ***!

Obviously the solution is to split into two servers: One for the casual gamers just here for a little fun after work, and one for the h4rdc0r3 1337 g4m3rz who throw down their weapons in favour of beating up the mobs using only their testicles.

Here's a new term for you:

Killer Whale - A player of F2P games who has bought their right to have an opinion on the direction in which a game should be developed, despite having no idea how the game really plays, due to their reliance on 'pay-to-win'.

When the developers listen to these, their highest paying customers, then the game inevitably shifts more towards pay-to-win, or even pay-to-play - due to increasing difficulty and/or grind for f2p, or even lower paying players - killing off what was originally a f2p game.

A challenge is always fun.. but this is just depressing.. I don't mind dieing in a video game, but to die, and then spawn just to die so you can spawn and die again just sucks. I hope this issue gets fixed soon, because if it isn't, it is going to kill off alot of players. I've already heard a ton of complaining through area chat.. Some area's are not as Hard as others.. But was with a large group that pulled down their own arkfall, and after about an hour of fighting off enemies, we finally got inside, just for everyone being dead by the time we spawned in, just to be trapped at the spawn point by AI.. If i wanted to be spawn killed, I would play Call of Duty..

I love This game of Defiance, but this is not fun atm.. Hard would have been fine, but Double Insanity Difficulty level is not needed..

    Working as intended.
I just don't understand the intention.

Maybe there will be an option to revive for bits/arkforge with full health and 30 second immunity shield instead of extracting in the next patch ?

I'm sorta wondering how soon you will be able to purchase actual ego units from the bit store.

I don't understand it either.. I would have been fine with making the game a little harder, but I just don't understand their logic at this difficulty. Don't see the point of even playing those arkfalls at this point.

This is just what companies do.

In our case, a game company, they come up with a great idea, then scrap it because they don't know how to implement it (smarter enemies) and replace it with an easier idea (just tougher enemies) and then say, "There! Make that!" to the people responsible for the actual development. The devs make it, but then ignore everything but bug fixes on the test server because they'll be damned if they go through and tear down this big "highly anticipated" DLC and build it back up again. There's a deadline to keep and/or no real reason to go out of their way to do anything more than is required.

The paper pusher devs will then ask, "What's wrong, why are there fewer people logging in and buying from the bit store." and the coding devs will say, "Ummm, I dunno, we'll look into it." and then they'll f*ck off to the pub for a few hours because no one wants to roll back a high priority project like this and rebuild it from the bottom floor.

    That is my hypothesis, anyway.
