And he is almost right. Some of the ones he didn't mention are gone. The ones mentioned are still here, but we have posted less, either out of spite because of what happened to a great game, out of anger at the forumites attacking us for being "trion Celebs", when it's Trion they are mad at, or because we ourselves have to limit our responses until our infractions have expired so we don't get banned again.

Yeah I've noticed the decline in posts, as well as the absence of former knights.

When it released it was fresh and new with a charm and uniqueness all it's own.

    Now not so much.

The days around when I posted this, you were pretty inactive on the forums. Also, Arsenic touch was the name I forgot, and etaew was pretty silent those days as well. Believe it or not, I miss amack and wish he would post his ideas now. Before all he did was defend trion. Now supposedly he is angry and that is why he doesn't post.
I am not condoning violence or toxicity against trion, however, I think that our anger must be ameliorated for everyone's sake. Believe it or not, this is our game now not theirs. We must be appeased.

LOL, that's funny. I really do try to be open minded about most things and sympathetic to other peoples concerns. I actually try to be the lone guy on the internet that says, "Hey that was a good post and you have changed my mind." Or at the very least see your view. I dislike arguing opinions because unless it's factually inaccurate opinions are not wrong. It's probably also the reason I get upset when the opposite happens.

I know I'm not a celeb....but I do consider myself a vet....and I'm around just don't post so much anymore. I'm always creeping around the forums on a daily basis and I chime in when I feel like it. I'm also in game ALMOST every day.....but like Batman said, not for 8+ hours anymore.

There comes a point when you just don't feel like arguing anymore or when you feel like Trion isn't listening or hearing you....there is a threshold for that. Maybe I'm at mine....but I'm not leaving the game any time soon....I still enjoy running and gunning with DAWN PATROL.

I could be wrong about this. I am not a notepad scribbler and game figurer outer, but it seems like (if you want to keep your fav existing weapons) the drop rate and the ways to farm arkforge combined with the new scoring system, will keep you always behind on how much arkforge you need to keep up.
The events that reward arkforge tend to score you so much exp that you level up faster than you can pay to keep the weapons current.

I'm seeing really dissapointing patern how threat levels are calculated. When I'm solo my threat goes to 5 and if I'm joined by OP at mid 2k, threat goes to 8, so his personal must be 3. Theoretically I think devs added personal threat to Ego categories like under 1k is 1, 1-2k is 2, 2-3k is 3 etc. So I guess calculation is just simple addition. If this addition would at least be divided by 2, all the events would be less frustraiting, when smaller number of players are there.

THAT, or they COULD put a Cap on certain events, like everything in Mt.Tam cant go past TL4, Madera TL5, Marin TL6, Sasolito TL7, and San Fransisco TL8-10. All emergencies and Conflict Sites anyway. *edited*

Thats actually not true, me and a full group of 5000+ ego players went formidable minigunner/grenadier farming at mount tam radio station between south and east or north i cant remember (they are within walking distance of eachother)... The threat level was 10 with a full group of 5000+

sorry, I do that alot lol =) but yeah there probably should be threat limits on different areas, e.g. like you said 4 for Mt Tam would probably be ideal for newbies as they wont be too hard, yet not boring easy either.
    sorry again =)

    Reasons I haven't posted lately.

I came to the forums for help. Got sidetracked thinking The Company gave a sh!t about its game. Hard realization when I learned the truth.

Stepping back and just lurking and looking for answers again. These forums are a great source for info, as is Etaews' site. Hate to draw a ban for honestly speaking my opinions. The Company ain't got no time for that...

Kiwi, the problem here is that several people, me included, have written detailed posts to explain why the new way shields work is problematic. And the problem is not that we don't like the change for no reason, or that it devalued our inventory or anything like that. The problem is that there is a clear contradiction between the stated intent of the system (to make all epic shields valuable, and all legendary shields very valuable) and the actual result (epic IV and orange V aren't really any good, whereas they were before the change). This has not been addressed, either by you or by Trick. This is what people are annoyed or even pissed off about.

And you know what's more worrying about it? It's that there's a history of this in this game. Players point out that there is a problem again and again. They are told that things are working as intended, that there is no problem, that everything is fine. Then, one day, someone comes and says "Arkhunters, we have found and fixed an issue with x, and now x is going to be even more awesome!". I know that in most cases you're aware of issues and hard at work to fix them, but you only have limited resources so fixes don't come as fast as we would like them. But from time to time, there is an issue like this that we have to struggle to make you accept that it even exists, and it's annoying.

Most of us are grown-ups, we can understand why things get changed even if we don't like it, as long as these changes are coherent. But sometimes we cannot see the coherence in these changes, and if no one addresses our arguments as to why the changes look incoherent to us, then we cannot understand them.

I think a better way to direct your attention at this point would be to submit feedback in game. I know you feel that the feedback isn't addressed, but we do go through it, and I'd appreciate it if you would submit it. I'm a representative for your community, and it actually helps me out a ton when you submit feedback. I'm not saying you have to, but I am saying it helps.
The reason I don't submit feedback in-game is that I have no way to tell what happens to it afterwards. At least on the forums there is a chance for direct dev or CM feedback, as well as the possibility of getting other people on board with your idea / suggestion / complaint / report, which helps it gain traction.

I approve Tekrunner, Fuzzy, Etaew message. They seems to be heavily invested in this game and have very advanced understanding of mechanics and reasonable attitude towards balanced game.

Hell, i think they should be on the TRION payroll.

Now there is still a valid, respectful and constructive follow-up question, relayed by many concerned players in this thread, and left unanswered.

I PMed Trick asking him to compare a IV and V and got no response. My chase for anything nice is over...if I get something cool I will use it until it is ruined by an unnecessary change. Its all typos and OP items those damn dirty traders are scamming people out of.

Yep he's not going to respond to you. I remember PM'ing him about nanos missing on weapons after the 1.105 patch (weapon roll patch). This was a couple weeks after the patch came out and we knew what weapons weren't coming with nanos. Didn't respond, but he mentioned it on the live stream in a smart tone, and still took months before it was finally fixed.

As for shields. Here are some examples of what we have now compared to the Respark V that is still the same (all at 5000 EGO just because I know the caps for Resparks at 5k is 8898 :)).

Respark Regenerator III DX - EGO 5000
    50% Regen
    8898 Capacity
    40% Rate
    2.7 Delay
this would have been a Respark Regenerator V DX with these stats (2.7 delay, 50% regen) pre DLC5

Respark Regenerator IV EX - EGO 5000
    75% Regen
    8898 Capacity
    40% Rate
    2.55 Delay
better than most orange resparks, even now, with these stats (and certainly something I would use over a plain Respark V)

I could go on, but I think most stuff has already been said, just wanted to drop these two examples. And I could say that blue Respark Regen III DX is better than an orange Respark V now...
