Well i finally reached ego 5000+, and then shortly after that i was just constantly getting disconnected over and over. I got on this morning and now i can't get through the patch notes in order to log in and play. Did something bad happen to Defiance??? Seriously is anyone else having this issue?

Depends, if you really really like the pre 1.5 combat and horizontal progression than yes to a degree.
If you wanted more engaging combat and more distant goal than no they fixed it.

bump. Some may view this thread as "non-constructive" but the complaints here are valid and I'm going to try help keep this at the forefront. That support site is about as useless as it gets. It might as well say, be sure to disconnect your modem and router for 25 seconds and make sure all plugs are secure... it's one of those lazy copy/paste responses they make you guys give us because you have to give us some sort of answer to make it look like you're trying to help but you know dam well it's not going to help!
Server stability is the number one priority for an online game. I mean the kids that run Multi Theft Auto CIT2 server, (a heavily modded mmorpg version of GTA San Andreas) can host a server with over 1k people without so much as a hiccup! Why don't you guys hire a few of them, they seem to know how to run a server... I'm sorry but a year of server stability issues is UNACCEPTABLE!
