The rare positive view on these forums ;)
I never like to reply to complainers on these boards but for once felt compelled to add my two cents. Whether or not you like the F2P model or not (I really don't care one way or the other), what this does is it gives me hope that this game will continue to receive development attention from Trion and I will be able to enjoy playing this game like I have since the game was released. While this game is without a doubt, the glitchiest game I have ever played on my 360, it is also hands down one of the funnest games I have played and have put more time into playing it than any other game on my 360 over the last 10 years.
For the people that are complaining they got ripped off because the payed full price for the game upon release and/or bought the DLC, I think Concretesnake was right with his comments addressing that. If you look at any game that had longevity and I will use Borderlands as my example (another awesome game), those games are usually released later down the line with all of the DLC included with the main game and at a cheaper price than the original game.
As is the case with almost anything you buy today, early adopters will always pay more. I for one just hope I can continue to enjoy playing this game for another year and since this game is a MMO, the more people playing, the better the game "hopefully" will be. It would seem to me that very few players playing the game = no reason for Trion to keep the servers running.
