Had this quest bug for me too. Don`t hold your breath waiting for a response though since they have other bugs they are probably working on. You need to contact live chat support and the GM will credit you for the quest so you can complete the pursuit. I did it and it took only 5 minutes.

They STILL haven't fixed this? This bugs been going the whole time hasn't it?

I got it to work only after that daily 5 min maintenance or whatever. I know there is one going on right now, so try now if you can, once the servers are back up.
