Don't forget to STOP DRIVING YOUR VEHICLES INTO ANY PART OF AN ARKFALL. You are just making the people who are trying to aim have a harder time.

I found that the best way to do ark falls is to make sure that you don't get overwhelmed. The Scitterlings bite a piece off the crystal, then run away, dig in and spawn eggs/turrets/turn to bigger hell bugs. Also often the weakspots disappear as soon as they run off. So, let them bite, then kill them. If you didn't kill them you will face a much wider and harder amount of hellbugs which you then need to clear out.

What I usually do is kill those turrets/flying ones because they are annoying and can kill a whole group. Kill scitterlings if we get overwhelmed and to make sure we wont run out of ammo because everything they spawn will take more ammo than just killing them, plus they can drop ammo too.

Eww that's annoying. Can't we somehow disable vehicles of being used within a certain vicinity to an Ark event?

And for those not interested in waiting for monarchs to expose their weakspots, you could use an infector. The bugs that spawn actually do a lot of damage and seems to mostly ignore damage mitigation from hellbug carapace. Maximize this by infecting weaker bugs (skitterlings NOT in the smaller crystal events and archers) which will die faster and the infector bugs will spawn in larger clusters.
