First as i mentioned previously in this thread one of the very few OJ items i did recieve from 7th legion was the OJ blade. This item is best possible version of this item since there are no variations and it is untradeable. Since i have the best possible version of this item and it is untradable and i can use only one i dont need anymore of these yet they will keep dropping from the boxes wasting my RNG chances.

Second , The first item that drops from everybox is a shield and last night i pulled a single box and recieved an OJ shield but the shield was the third item to come out of the box. Why if every first item is a shield do i lose a chance at a gun for my third item , I would rather have a chance at a gun than a shield. The first item out of every box should not be a guaranteed shield it should possibly be a gun too.

Yet more evidence that though the RNG is "where The Company wants it" - the RNG is a horrid system without logic or fairness.

Again, I will point out that setting the RNG so tightly is a lose-lose situation. NONE of these items are available in the bit store I see no point in withholding them from the PAID DLC customers.

Hell a better plan would have been to sell them in their vendors for rep, at least then we could set clear goals, and have an idea for a timeframe for the outfits we wanted.

I'm still pushing for a response on WHY this RNG is set the way it is set - both Gunslinger and 7th Legion are ridiculous.

So now we have our "working as intended" response but I'll keep pestering until I get an answer. If never, then I'll never stop.

WHY would you keep paid DLC goodies out of reach? UNFAIR she cries!

While its likely not the answer you want to hear, at this point we don't see any issues.

    Today we:
    • Double checked the loot tables are set to the values we want. They are.
    • We followed the same process a live player would to obtain those items on our test environments. Over multiple tests, they averaged out per the loot tables.
    • We followed the same process a live player would on the live servers to obtain those items. Over multiple tests, they averaged out per the loot tables.
    • Confirmed all outfits are dropping.

Also, please realize that we have:
    1. A very small sample set here on the forums.
    2. In my experience, on the forums, people are much more likely to vocalize about what they didn't get, than acknowledge when they did get something from a RNG implementation like this.

the items listed in red above cannot be true in the time frame of this thread. you state that you carried these tests out in the same process a player would obtain these items?

it takes 20 incursions at 5 points per incursion to get the 7th legion rep to pull 1 box. on the test server, i am sure you have a way to grant yourself the rep and scrip needed to pull boxes repeatedly, but on an actual live server, you would have had to play for days on end to obtain the rep to pull enough boxes to verify that every outfit is dropping. that is unless you can also modify the amount of rep and scrip you have on a live server, in which case you did not pull the boxes in the same manner as a normal, day to day player.

maybe you are correct, and your acceptable drop rate is in place, but you need to take into consideration the means by which the people posting in this thread obtain rep and scrip, and how long it takes them compared to the ability to modify your own rep/scrip amounts.

The words PhantasieTrion used are very subjective too. All he said was it was acceptable to them with out actually saying what acceptable was.

Also them testing on their internal test has always been an issue. It never matches what the players see that are obvious problems.

And that is why I'm NOT GOING TO LET THIS THREAD DIE. Good points have been made - DLC rate of earning = 1 box a week compared to lockboxes you can get over 100 T2 a week. More if you have on your try-hard.

It's paid content. We got practically nothing. RNG logic is lose-lose. We can't buy the outfits and guns in the store. There is zero point to witholding the DLC items. Pure cruelty, nothing else makes sense.
