The Player location icon is missing from the map

    The Player location icon is missing from the map
    Hello.
    I have a problem with the interface which the Support could not help me with suprisingly.

    The thing is that the icon which shows my character's position and direction on the map is missing.
    Here's the screenshot illustrating the issue:

    As you can see, the cursor is focused on the player now, but there's no icon showing the character and his direction. On the map legend it's shown as inactive too, and I cannot turn it on like any other icon on the legend. This problem persists only on my account. I tried logging into another account and tried both accounts on another computer — and on both computers on the other account the player icon shows up as usual, and on my account it doesn't.

    I've contacted Support about it and after general replies regarding updating drivers and reinstalling client their reply was the following:

    We appreciate the information you have been able to provide us regarding your character location indicator. Unfortunately the Customer Support team does not have the ability to implement new features or make changes to what is currently seen in-game. Please submit this as 'feedback' from in-game, so that it can be directly reviewed by our development team for possible future implementation.

    That got me thinking they have completely misunderstood the issue. I didn't ask for any new feature. The only thing I asked about is to correct a feature already working for everyone but somehow disappeared for me.

    Can anyone help me with this please?

    Just a wild guess. The only thing I sometimes turn on/off on the map is the Replay Mission icon. It's located next to the Player icon and when the Incursion is spawned, the whole list moves down so that the incursion icon ends up being the first item in the list. This way if I was unlucky enough to turn the Replay Mission off at the same time when the incursion has spawned, the game must have turned off Player icon instead.

    Is there a way to return to 'factory defaults' for the Map Legend or all account settings including Map Legend (from my side or from the Support side)?

    [09:17:13 AM] GM Treance: Unfortunately, I can only suggest submitting a bug report for this issue so our developers can review this. Short of informing you to try and repair it from Glyph(which may require a full reinstall) there is not much we can do for this type of UI issue.

    Actually, I'm surprised that there's no factory reset feature for all account settings from the support side. Not a big deal per se, but it hampers my ability to report other issues as I can't show on the map where my character is and what direction is he facing.

    When you submit a bug report in game a lot of that info is attached to the report sent to our Dev team!
