Every time I fast travel to some place I get kicked off the server....I have to completely turn off my game for around 5 to 10 minuets before it will let me on with out time outs...This is one of the most annoying things that happen in the game. Just think you guys should look in to this and see if it is you or Sony.
I get this one too, and I have had this on the xbox 360 version too. Again its not the console or the internet connection
Thanks for the reports! I have tried to replicate this myself, but so far haven't had any luck. Can you both try the steps for your console listed on this article? It will require replacing old patch data, but after doing that, let us know if the disconnects continue while trying to fast travel.
I will make sure to let the team know this is happening, but if anyone else is seeing the same thing, we would appreciate hearing from you too.

I have noticed that say you need a short break say a beer or somthing to eat etc say about 10mins or so, when you fast travel just after returning to the game I have noticed it happen to me an a few occasions.

Fasti, not sure where your located from the servers when you try to have this happen. But happens to me daily and people in my clan. Im in NY on the ps3 and I get this, lag over 60 seconds, freezing, hard freezing(where 30 sec on reset button doesnt work nand I have to unplug it), sound issues, and rendering issues from this or going into arks for WM or most boss fights. Not sounding rude but a large cross section of the player base and some claim since release. I guess I am trying to say if this happens to a large cross section of the player base.
So I dont know how to say it without sounding rude, because I do not mean it with offense. But maybe, perhaps the tests to reproduce this arent being set up correctly. I cant go an hour with out one of these happening (wireless or wired), and I cant reproduce these issues on my end on any games I play on the ps3 or the crappy laptop (I just got).

No problem at all! I was referring to the specific situation of using a fast travel point from an AFK state. The team is aware of the server stability issues players have reported, and will continue to make improvements going forward. Sorry for any confusion.Quote:

I have had this again today, but I have tried something, and I have found that this only happens for me when trying to fast travel to the Crater, doesn't happen with any other fast travel point.
