I chose egineer thinking, cool, I could probably build or supply ammo or something.
There doesn't seem to be any noticable advantage or skills to choosing a specific class to me.:confused:

Starting weapons and outfit. That's all.
there is, the major perks wont be unlockable for a GOOD while (the one you choose during the tutorial) and to reach another ud have to gimp you mainbuild somethign aweful tbh, im at 250ish now and so far off unlockign another major its silly, and im prolly not going too since the points is needed in specific places
But they don't even tell you what the weapons are, so its kind of hard to know, so just go with the outfit.
They're basically there because they probably thought they should whack them in. Serve no Purpose what so ever apart from a brief back story when you create them. You should be able to see what weapon they use upon character creation
Veteran = Assault Rifle
Survivalist = Sniper
Outlaw = Shotgun
Machinist = LMG
Based upon the statements given by Trion I'd say its quite true. I've seen Bonuses with the relevant names I don't know if you have to be a Veteran to use the Veteran Bonuses or if its just the type. If that's the case it seems even more pointless and badly explained.
Would have figured your EGO would be more helpful but it just keeps spurting the same thing

so its more than very important
