just as the title says. my computer can somewhat handle rift without problems on the lower settings. i think the dedicated graphics memory is 256MB on my computer.

i don't mind the lag. besides if worse comes to worse i can get either ps3 or 360 version.
I play Rift and run Defiance very easily, I believe Defiance takes less than Rift to run well, you should be able to run Defiance if you play Rift. ;)
i would imagine..... but i havent played rift lol
but i can tell you i can run defiance with my crappy onboard video card lol im sure you wont have any trouble
yay! thanks for the info
My wife uses an older PC with specs that are close to what you are using, and it will run Defiance, but the frame rate does chug along during ark fall battles. your best bet would be to pick up a 650ti nvidia card. it will set you back close to one-fifty, but it's a nice card and will run most new games on medium to high, depending upon the rest of your rig. i swapped up to a 660ti in my pc, which is great, but it was twice the price of the 650, without, so far as i can tell, double the power.
i do think its a little odd that trion has yet to release actual hardware requirements. anyway, good luck.
actually i'm planing on getting the 360 version when i preorder it for my birthday. i just wanna know so i can be prepared if i get lucky enough to get a key for alpha or beta. (which is a sure thing for beta if i do get the preorder for my birthday...)
Most of the options within Defiance are scale-able so you should be able to play at low settings or medium settings.
make sure to look around the net, i have seen several gaming sites giving away beta keys. ZAM and IGN have both posted links to key give-aways. i don't know how legit the keys are, but its worth a try.
