    underpowdred legendary weaps
I havent played in like 6 months and come back to see new purps w/ 4 rolls plus a mastery and dmg ratings that blow my old legendaries out of the water. This may have been asked and answered already but i dont have an hour to go digging.
    So is this intentional?
Is there a fix (having a dev reroll)?
Or am i stuck with a bunch of "blue" legendaries?

I just came back a bit ago as well, and had the same problem.

For me.. it was really a matter of "does this weapon really perform anymore?" If it didn't, then it got salvaged. If it did, then it got kept and the ego level's upgraded. Of them all (about a dozen).. I think I've still got one. The rest I've all replaced already with newer versions of full bonus guns. It just took some time.

It was indeed intentential. They changed the weapon mechanics So the ones without a roll of every rarity upto the gun's current rarity are obsolete. Also with the new Threat levels and weapon leveling, All your guns were bupmed to 75% of your ego if they weren't already when the patch was released.

Your guns/shields that are over 100 ego below your ego are weak. You will have to upgrade or replace them. As for those pre-patch weapons with fewer rolls, Pseudocool is right.

Wait, you're seriously arguing that after a six month hiatus your gear should still be cutting edge BIS?

Wow, MMOs are simply not for you.

OK, that was a snotty answer, but just hit a vendor for a couple of blues to make due and you'll be amazed at how much better those Oranges taste now.

o believe me we were all complaining months ago when this changes was happening, tons of better guns out there now and everyone has been able to live with it and actually get much better gear than we ever had. More rolls, no self revive crap, increased damage by rarity. Once you get a few guns you'll be happy.

    What he said.

I broke down a Syphon Rolling Thunder SAW for the T3 mods on it. It had been a 2 million scrip SAW before, and now the 40k in mods were more valuable.

At the end of the day, the changes have been good. Some of the nano effect related changes, specifically syphon, needs to be adjusted a bit, but I think the game is more fun in the gear department now than it ever was. Also, rarity upgrades have introduced a whole new aspect to the game: gun building; farm low rarity weapons with certain rolls and upgrade them until you have the perfect gun. It actually gives a sense of reward for hard work now, compared to the last year where you could do whatever and still be at the mercy of the RNG gods.

And to think people laughed at me when I started collecting sluggers prior to the patch. Who's laughing now!
