If these timers stop the people who insist that they NEED 40 people before they start the warmaster and then spend 30 to 45 MINUTES forcing everyone to wait while they exploit the glitch to go over room cap and trickle their clannies and friends in, then I'm all for it.
I am getting extremely sick and tired of going into a WM to have some idiot preach to everyone else that WM is not beatable until you put 40 people in that room and then berates anyone who says other wise or even touches the locks when the room is full of 24 people. I have literally sat in the WM room for over a half hour while everyone waited for this guy to get to his lovely 40 mark. Waiting for his clannie to finish an arkfall. Waiting for his friend to finish a co-op. And On And On And On. Until he finally fill the room with so much dead weight that even though he exploited the room to past capacity they still couldn't break a single piece of his armor.
Kind of curious as to why -- like some others have suggested -- they don't require the bulk of the raid to shoot out the locks. Would be a great DPS check, to see if the raid even has the required numbers/ego levels/firepower to take out the monkey. If you can't take out the locks to start the event, then you know you don't have the raw numbers or firepower to complete it either.
you cant even get in to a warmaster . you get the good ole boot trying to get in
If they attached a minimum player # in the instance before the countdown, I would feel better about it. As it stands the instance could only have a few people before the warmaster breaks free with all of the disconnects in that instance.
Possibly the dumbest fix suggestion I've heard yet.
Here's an idea TRION, just remove the WM altogether if you can't implement a proper fix. #halfarsed.

I totally agree with this. The few times I've been able to get inside a wm ark fall without dc problems, I was surrounded by people just standing around doing nothing. I know I p**sed off a bunch of them because I WAS THE LOCK BREAKER. And I'll continue to do this. I DON'T GIVE A S**T ABOUT WAITING ON YOU'RE FRIENDS TO GET IN ON THE MATCH. IF THEY WANTED TO BE THEIR THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE FROM THE START. Time to get organized? THIS IS A RP SHOOTER GAME. THE ONLY ORGANIZATION YOU NEED TO KNOW IS SNOOT THE BIF F***ING THING IN THE ARMS OR BACK UNTIL IT DIES. I love the idea of timers. When I go into a wm I go in ready from the get go. I WILL ALWAYS BE THE LOCK BREAKER. GET OVER IT.
It will at least give the people that know what they're doing a little more time to type out the plan (wait for enough people, agree where to target, what weapons are best, to extract instead of waiting for a rez, and other WM "best practices").
Then when noobs or griefers blow all that off and open fire on the locks with Volge weapons and ten people in the room, it's just that much more justification for abusing them so horribly in chat that you risk being banned. ;)
