Wonder what they can do to fix it for you guys? I am on the PC, and I was able to download at my full speed, which is 55 Mbps. /shrug

And yet I'm having download speeds that maxed out around 0.18. Painful. It would occasionally spike up, but not often enough to be useful. If I'm downloading large files from other providers (Steam, Apple, etc.) I can generally stay well above 2.1 mbps.
This was yesterday. This afternoon, the patch from you guys stayed above 1.0 the entire time. It was much, much better.
Yesterday I was getting 0.08 or so, now I'm about 0.03 MB/s

Unfortunately I can't take it anymore. I love the game but I have a very demanding job and work excessive hours, I need to be able to switch my entertainment on for a couple of hours when I need it, not watch a download screen for days. Since I started downloading at launch 2 weeks ago, I have spent up to 200 hours downloading and received anywhere up to (probably more than) 90+ GB of data. I have submitted a ticket for a refund, I'll be back once this rather serious bug gets hammered out. See you Are Hunters sometime in the future :)
I am starting to get more than a bit annoyed with this games patcher now. My speeds are fine... But...
When I first got the game, I decided to install it onto my high capacity pen drive (met Xbox requirements)
Kept failing to patch, then eventually it caused an error in the pen drive that resulted in a crash mid format (the drive is now un accessible and useless), I forgave it, these things happen, now after about 3 hours trying to patch, it finally completes - I hit play, my character appears, I try to log in, but no buttons work except left and right on the stick, then the Xbox crashes - ok, that's cool, these things also happen.. So I go to try again, now this time it's asking me to completely re-install the game... But get this, it keeps failing to install now....
Seriously, I'm loosing patience now.

This will be shortly going onto ebay, i know it's a new game and (when i'm in) it looks and feels like a superb game. But i'm not sitting here for 2 f**king hours every time a patch comes out, it just ruins the game for me and i would rather be playing than sitting there looking at ANOTHER patch that needs to be applied.

During patches, my speed tops out at .12 Kbps and bottoms at .03Kbps. Its excrutiating and worse than anything I've ever downloaded before.

Patching Defiance from 1.012 to 1.013 last nigt, I was observing speeds of 3.5Mbps. After watching for a few minutes, I went to bed and let it run overnight.

I am currently installing and patching on an Xbox360 wired directly to the modem at 0.13 MB/sec
The speed test was using a wireless laptop.

I've had download speeds as low as .11 and as high has .32 mbps
It gets to Time Remaining: 0 Seconds and the bar looks 100% full. The xbox then restarts and replays the last 15 minutes over again.

but there isnt anything here on this forum to help my issue, it started with latest patch download.
it goes upto 4 min then numbers start increasing like 6 hrs for patch
is there anythign that is beign looked into?
No i am having good internet download speed. My internet speed result is given below:
My download speed is 72.98 mbps
My upload speed is 23.77 mbps
I have checked my internet speed using the site Scanmyspeed.com
