What determines whether a weapon can have mod slots added or not?

    in the earlier testing, there was also an unspoken skill requirement, where you cannot add a slot unless you gained skill in that weapon type or level'd that weapon higher.. I don't know if this holds true anymore.. since all my weapons and skills have long since been maxed..

    also.. the costs get higher.. MUCH higher depending on how much modification is additionally required and the grade of the weapon.



    as for the talk about the slots.. just fyi. a clip is an ammo container for pistols specifically, a Magazine is the term used for all others and otherwise.

    I appreciate the info, but I might not understand the process of modding, as I never was successful during my playtime yesterday.
    Need to go back and really look at the stats to get a better understanding. Seemed to me the Start Action button was always greyed out, which leads me to believe I had it equipped.

    I believe you also have to have an EGO rating of at least 100 to add slots :)
