    Your connection to the DEFIANCE servers has timed out.
    I purchased Defiance a few months back, and really didn't start playing until a few months ago. It seemed fun, and then it became free to play. Since then I continually get disconnected. 60mb cable Internet, and all I get for my paid game and premium broadband is "Your connection to the DEFIANCE servers has timed out."

    Now that Defiance is FTP, I suppose you could say that people are getting what they pay for.

    Not yet - not free yet on ps3 anyway. This has been a problem all along for us, we are the children the keep locked under the stairs hoping we go away.

    If, don't time out in Defiance (ps3) then it the major crash to reset my whole system. Just love watching blue screen of death come up, and tell me my system has shut down improper and must do complete reset.

    Now would blame it on the F2P, since that hasn't started yet. I'm having more fun without issue on my PC version and may have to play on there without friends, until they fix the whole crash and burn with server problem

    We've have been investigating the connectivity issues reported with console players recently! Because of these increasing reports we have delayed the Free-to-Play launch. We also have a patch scheduled for later today.

    For those who cannot connect at all you're welcome to contact support, so we can take a closer look. They'll want to know if you already performed these suggestions.

    I love how there "suggestion" is to waste 2-6 hours of ur life to reinstall to fix an issue that is ENTIRELY on their end.

    Thank you for the response. In full disclosure, I actually DID contact support and submit a ticket (Reference Number 140711-000242). Unfortunately, this ticket has not been responded to in five days. :mad:
