I've been having the contracts pips pop up, but I'm not exactly sure where these are coming from. Others in Zone (PCNA) have stated that they've been getting them while standing still, so I think I'm not the only one confused by this.
Anyone know what's up with these and how we're going to be able to complete the contracts for them? I'm a bit lost on this one! :o
I just finished the daily and weekly contract for the Tarr family, and got an orange shield. Not sure if the shield was reward for doing the contracts, or just some random bug. :P
Either way, I am not complaining.
Which orange shield did you get, Magic? I just finished the weekly as well and received a Hurricane Brawler... ended up being merch food, but still! I'm interested to know if everyone is getting the same item for the contract.
I also just found out that one of the Tarr Traxx boxes is next to the statue at Coit Tower. Interacting with it will make it vanish, but it will reappear if you map travel away and come back. I haven't found a location for any more of them yet, nor have I seen anyone talking about it in chat so far.
But at least I now know where they're coming from!

I got a Tachyon something something...LOL some % take less damage from a vehicle. I'm gonna keep it, might come in helpful.

There is one at the Fork (in the lower level of the house, on the right side) which keeps spawing after destroying it.
That's for PvP. Unfortunately it's not that useful now because vehicle scaling is broken for PvP so you don't really need the reduced damage modifier. If you use the Tachyon with the Execution perk it's not that bad for PvE but I would rather use my Chimera Claw or an Ironclad Regenerator.Quote:

Awesome, people!! Thanks for adding to this! I've only seen the box at Coit, but it's great to know there are more of them around! It's worth mentioning that they seem to be marked with a star on the minimap!
The Weekly Contract completion is what's giving out the OJ Shield, and yes, people are getting different versions of Shields for this contract! ;)

I have same experience. Also, when completing one of the missions I go into intel and try to listen to one of the recordings, but there is no play button. Other recordings from first season give a play button. Is this by design? Not enough money for recordings anymore?

if you look on the mini map they show as a star, but if someone clicks it before you do, you need to wait on that one,
had that happen at the forks, was headed towards it (looking for it, for the first time) and before I found it the star went away, and I could no longer get the general idea where it was at, So assumed it had went away.
I hadn't checked, but they do appear to be one at each Vendor location I had been too, some were not showing, so it is possible only one person can click it, then need to wait, this is more theory, had yet to check/confirm if it's like that
I think its broken, not supposed to give out oj's, not supposed to spawn so fast. Thats why they brought the servers down. I had 4/5 too. Sux.

Yeah, it didn't really make sense. I logged in and ported to the points around SF looking for new vendors, saw the star at Coit, clicked and got the daily done. Then I ran back down to the vendor and realized the box was back, went and clicked it and got credit for the weekly. Rinse and repeat. Some OJ shield like everyone else.Quote:

I noticed that the two shields I got (Rebel Regen and Ironclad Berserker) were both IV EX as well as the others I've seen people get. Wonder if they are set to be orange IV EX shields?
i also got oj shield from getting all 5 tar boxes my was a oj regen shield sorry forgot full name of shield

I got Hurricane Survivor V ARK on my main, it gives +20% self revive refresh on shield brake and Hurricane Grenadier V ARK on my support toon.
The Tarr Traxx boxes can appear nearly anywhere in the world. Any ark hunter within a certain range of a box being claimed will get credit for it (to prevent who-touched-it-first fights). If you're getting contract updates, you were probably within range of a box being claimed.Quote:
