    Getting back into Defiance
I've recently wanted to start playing Defiance again, the only time I played was at launch for around 2 weeks and I was just wondering what has changed?

    First, welcome back!

Given the amount of time that has elapsed since the last time you played this game, your best bet is to visit the "Patch Notes" section on the forums and read up on all the changes that have taken place since your departure. SO MUCH have changed.

Welcome back Laudie and Olipyr (and the many others who arent posting here, but we see in the logs :) )

Its great to see returning players - I hope you stick around!

As others mentioned, www.defiancedata.com is an excellent resource (and run by an excellent player, Etaew). The Defiance Wiki - also run by forum member Escyos - is another great resource.

You can find alot of information in the news section here as well.

I assume the wiki by Escyos is the one you mean, when you say Defiance Wiki - ran by a forum member? http://en.defiance-wiki.com/wiki/Defiance_Wiki

wtf? is up with the server issues? Seriously?
I lost my connection more than 10 times tonight at ed zachary 3:30am pacific am time. What the hell is going to happen when we go free to play, I mind as well just turn off my system and dream about playing destiny.... and take a dump. this ridiculous, I started playing again recently and it's still f-ing crap. How the hell am I supposed to complete pursuits if I keep on getting kicked? Fix the ****ing game. Going free is just going to make it worse. think about it. Y'all made some money, patch **** that doesn't need to be patched and then the servers can't handle the ****ing stress of a peanut.

Just returned myself, enjoying it when I can get a decent connection but I am slightly worried about the stability and support for the game once free to play.

I almost bought the season pass yesterday but held off until I see how things pan out first.

I was originally a PS3 player and got to 1800 ego but now on xbox 360 and noticed the game isn't a stable as PS3, not sure if ps3 is the same now as I played from launch and was away from the game a while.

Anyway, it's good to be back, liking the new additions and changes, apart from the scoring system that's been added! That's just daft lol

Lol maybe it's the game in general that's not as stable these days, it just seemed to run better on my ps3 but I've been away a while and loads of things have been added to the game since

Maybe you remember incorrectly? The biggest issues complained about on forum were ALWAYS from Ps3. That is until that last patch that got rolled back on Xbox and made it so we got all the new content 2 weeks after everyone else. Btw the current instability issues are being experienced by every system and I believe are once again worse on Ps3.

I'm a new player, playing more than a week.
I've bought the 50% off first DLC for 5euros.
I'm thinking of deleting the game right now if they won't fix the current called "rebalance" of the keycode rewards since I received ONE keycodes in the last hour doing missions.
I rather delete the game and let the 5euros burn. This is just terrible, and I mean I barely care since I'm a new player first I need to level up, but dude, no keycodes vs. ~10 compared to yesterday in the same time, its CRAZY!

yep, Trion seems to have a greed policy for the most part, they do good by giving f2p users a quad in the first few missions, but I'm concerned that a few weirdo gamblers have really skewed their concept of just how many lockboxes they're going to sell. There's always an aberration. Myself? A lockbox or any means to gain a lockbox faster/better would be the last thing i'd ever buy in this game.

It just looks petty to make pure monetary moves like that which negatively impact the gamer. I'm also a bit saddened that I missed the more robust weapon upgrade system, and heard people claim that was nerfed as well because of low lockbox sales and the belief that it was cutting into lockbox sales. I just really have a hard time believing people are sticking credit cards in for lockboxes, I assume it is aberrant behavior.

Well I hope your plea does not fall on deaf ears, this is one of the top games I'm playing right now (on PC NA)
