Do not buy tier 4 lockboxes! Buy tier 3 instead!

So far i have had better luck with purple and orange items from tier 3 boxes. Once you factor in the number of boxes that can be purchased with the same amount of keys then numbers seem to support tier 3 is the better way to go then 4 so far. More boxes for the same price changes the math in the tier 3 favor.

While if your looking at it as a pure 1 to 1 box the tier 4 does have a better chance of better items. Someone wanna buy as many as you can with 500 keys and let us know how many items of each you get from it? That gonna be the only real well to tell in the long run.

i've bought about 6-7 tier 4 boxes, got maybe 3 purples and no oranges :/. my wife bought a few tier 3s and already has orange weapons. im making the switch to t3 boxes.

The tier 4 lockboxes have an estimated pull chance of 9% on every item, while a T3 only has 4-5%.

This alone makes T4 better.

eh? if t4 has 10% and t3 5%

then I would definatly say two chances at 5% vs 1 chance at 10% is better considering the cost diffrence 48 keystones for 2 t3's vs 64 for 1 t4

As far as T4 goes - I've bought 9 of them and received 5 oranges so far.

Edit your first post, the tier 2 lock boxes give loot no different than the tier three of four, and they only cost 8 keys.

Not sure how you managed to skip over that.

So far I have received 11 orange items from tier two boxes including guns, grenades, and shields. Its coming out to a minimum of one orange a day, sometimes more, with tier 2's.

I bought about 7 without getting a single one, that said my t3 luck hasnt been much better.. Im ego rating 1400 and have only gotten 1 legendary lol.

I have personally had best luck with t4 than t3. I tried out t3's after so much clamor about them, 10 boxes zero oranges. I average an orange every third t4. It's not even as if keys are overly hard to get anyway. Still have my fingers crossed for an orange lmg. I've gotten only orange det's and sawed off. Three of each, two of the dets were absolutely bad.

Best orange I have got is a bio nade with 0 fuse and 10sec duration. Absolutely stomps in pvp.
