Im am most excited to smashing in shadow wars. sniping all the way!

Long term, the games release on the PS3. Finally, a true shooter mmo on a console!
I would say getting a group together and tackling the main story.
i would like to use sticky grenades or a rocket launcher to explode some bugs for amusement, other than that exploring around the PVE enviroment on my quad with probably an assault rifle for general use (i like a good range but ive never been quick enough reflexes with my arm injury to snipe a moving target). ill want to see what cloak is like in PVE (if it breaks agro or they just auto see through it), and play around with decoy also. finally ill try the other weapon types, dmg types and get a feel for what i like.
I'm with you, TC. I'm a huge collector of items in games. The rarer, the better :) I personally can't wait to find a sweet-looking pistol and upgrade the living bajeezus out of it.
Huge open world and gotta say Trion World is itself a reason to play too as I know they can deliver good premium MMO games. Its gonna be a while when Elder Scroll Online is released anyway.

I am looking foward to the experience I get from the first game to come to console so big, story, multiplayer experience, and a never ending story I can continue to try and prove wrong XD. Trionworlds will be hard to beat in 2013. Glad to be apart of history!
The story and all its details. From what we have already seen and from what we are told about the show, the story is VERY complex and detailed and I am interested in knowing EVERYTHING about the Defiance universe......with no ulterior motive whatsoever.....

The T.V show and the game at the same time. Im a big Syfy guy and love to watch there show's, but this just blows it all out of the water. I cant wait to see what they do to link the T.V. show and the game together.
That and farming some rares and pvping a lot :)

Pretty much everything besides the PvP part even if I may try out shadow war if I run into it. I would love to see the show without having to get my eye patch and parrot out of storage but as far as I know I can't.
The fact that this game seems to have longevity. Most games these days are pretty good for about 20 hrs then just fall to the way side.
Yeah, i love the no subscription model, and i will def help the in game cash store if the stuff is something to my liking!
I'm really excited for the whole arkfalls thing. It's going to be really funny and intense seeing a lot people rushing to one point trying to get the items.
In the RPG department I'm lookign forward to character customization. The more depth it has the happier I'll be. As for the shooter aspect I'm looking forward to weapon customization. The fact that you can see what upgrades an ally/enemy has at a glance is a game changer.
I think it being third person mmo shooter is a much bigger draw to it then if it was FPS. because it will also incorporate more skill then looking down the barrel of a gun.
