Voice chat fixed for newbies apparently
So two new free to play people just joined my clan. They are talking to each other and we can hear them but they cannot hear us. Whatever you did for them, please do for us.

I noticed this too. A friend of mine grabbed f2p and we could hear him but he couldn't hear us. How many tickets do I have to report. What's the deal?

Yes, and apparently they couldn't see what I was typing. Probably didn't have their chat windows set up right but we had no voice to coach them on what to do. Truly frustrating.

Seriously.. I do not wanna listen to a 13yr old chewing Fritos, listening to (insert loud bad music title here)
With occasional "Oh Man" with no one else on the clan voice chat.

I do not mind so much as long as I can tell them to "Knock it off"
And they hear me.... also if they abide.. would be swell too.

Noticed the same thing. I have a theory. Our game clients have too much to remember so they've had to forego mics in order to keep our progress, inventories, and claim items at status quo.

    A terrible theory I know.

It was pointed out to me by a friend in game that we're not seeing many new players...

So she had created a new toon and FOUND THEM. I did the same thing (moved to the EU server cuz I'm full and have too many friends on NA for it to work) and I FOUND THEM TOO. A sea of purple dots in Mt. Tam. Well maybe not a sea, but everyone I found all the way on my drive to Iron Demon was under level 100 except for a couple 400-500 and a couple 4000-5000. I saw about 20 other players in my time there.

It appears that something is weird about the shards we get placed onto.

I know shard choosing has been worked on lately, to place us in the same phase as our friends/clan/what have you, but it is most likely an unintended consequence that ALL the new players get into a kind of shard of their own. That's not going to help them succeed and enjoy this game! What are we still doing here if we're not going to try and help some of them by passing on our knowledge?
