Seeing as Defiance can be extremely addicting, once you start getting into the game, as I guess all MMO games can be, if they have something you enjoy, I was wondering how many of you are going to carry on playing when the other D game comes out, esp as the game world is becoming less and less populated, making WM almost impossible due to lack of players participating.

I already know a lot of vet players have left, or stated they will be playing D once it's officially released, for one reason or another.

But how about those of you just getting into the game and having fun, are you wanting more of Defiance, or happy to have a break?

I've played before, but I've recently restarted. I'm pretty much riding this game until The Division comes out, if it doesn't flop. Destiny doesn't interest me.

Barring some huge change, I'll be leaving (about 2 weeks of play here). It's not specifically because of the other D, since I'm a PC man, but I'm pretty much out of steam here. It's so irritating, because the core running and gunning is pretty fun outside of the hilariously bullet spongey enemies, but I just feel like I've hit a brick wall. I haven't seen any good loot in a week, I can't upgrade the stuff I have and without either of those I'm just doing the same thing over and over, not even getting better at it.

So many D name games coming out...
I'm looking forward to Xenoblade Chronicles X, 2 new Tales games, and Freedom Wars.

XCX is going to be sweet. I'm not really a Tales fan, though. Most of my time is spent working or playing Monster Hunter on my phone.

Honestly, I don't hold much confidence in TD. I'm mainly playing it with a group of IRL friends/family (40+ people, we played this game for a while, to.)

The thing that I've always found with MMOs, is that when I'm playing good ones other games don't eclipse them. You take some time out to play them, sure, but when I'm having fun they aren't a threat to my playing that. I got into the habit of playing everything in a window exclusively so I could be logged into Eve Online while I was playing other games, so I could still see the chat and know what was going on. I played a lot of games really hard when I used to play Eve, but nothing ever pulled me away from it.

And that's kinda the point here I suppose. If Defiance made you feel like you were doing something interesting all the time then other games wouldn't pull you away, you'd play both.

At my height of Defiance enjoyment, it was the only game I would play, to the detriment of my back catalog of games, now i'm able to play them again, for a few weeks at least lol

I'll be playing Destiny and Defiance.

Defiance is still a good game if you like running around shooting things and as things are now I get to do it on my own.

As a PC gamer I suppose I have too. I betcha that "other game" won't be around for too long before people start planning to leave it for a new game too ;)

I'm in it for the long haul. I'm sticking around.

I'm addicted to the game play. It has its lag and bugs and horrible waves of repetitive mobs but in the end... Right now, it's one of my favorite games. I love that it (however remotely and scarce it may be) ties the show and game together. Offering to explain things you didn't see in the show.

I'll probably only quit once I max things out or if the community dies completely, say they cancel the show or something.

I know a LOT of people will be quitting or switching games for a while but that doesn't scare me away from playing. There will be people who still play, I know it. XD
