FIX Joe boss fight PLEASE

Im sick of redoing entire fight OVER and OVER again it's getting BORING and BS and all >.< also needs nerf :(

You just need strategy. Stay back behind crates and take out the normal guys. When the fire dudes start coming just melee and then shoot their tanks. Aim for his head and unload, rinse and repeat. It is hard but I completed it first try. It needs to be difficult.

This boss doesn't need a nerf, use strategy by keeping close to the boxes on the lower area don't stay up top, when the little guys spawn tap your left mouse button (when you have an assault rifle equipped) this will cause the smelters to fall over then hit thier cannister, do this a few times and then he'll come down off his little perch and then a simple kite around the box and its done.

I think this was one of the quests that was absolutely the hardest for newer players. But.. I have to agree.. it just takes a bit of tactics and Joe isn't that hard at all. IMO it's the perfect solo-boss for AR shooters, not so great for those of us who have a fetish for AoE weapons, but still do-able if you take the time and use cover. (trust me, later in game, your going to need to learn to use cover.. and FAST)

I agree with the OP, the boss fight is absolutely ridiculas, you can not do it even with hiding behind the crates is completely a waist of time, if I can not complete the main mission I am going to bring the damn game back to the store.

I don't have time to sit here and do this over and over, I work for a living and this is supposed to be an escape not another point of stress.

Where was this Joe guy again?

Their talking about the mission "bullet for a bad man".. where you help Rosa defeat Jackleg Joe.

@Lemech - don't stay in one spot.. there's 2 of the larger crates on the back side of the room. Work back and forth between them, if you stay in one spot for too long the mobs that come from both of the doors in the front will swarm you in my experience. This is a tedious mission, and a challenge, but it's also very do-able.

Finished him used LMG to kill him when he on the floor but he hits hard so had to use lot of BARRRRREEEELL ROLL :P

^^Congrats! It does take time, but its worth the difficulty when you do beat him.

The fight is pretty simple IMO with any weapon really. It does become somewhat laughable with detonators. Just stick a few on him, run behind one of the crates and detonate. rinse/repeat till he's eating dirt.

Make use of your ego powers to their fullest.
Circle around the two crates for line of sight on him and take shots at him when you can.
Make sure to dodge out of the way if you can.
You can always take a BMG to heal your shield while running around and avoiding him.
