At the moment, I have a green Respark Shield (no damage resistance) and was considering on upgrading the rarity to add another armor plate to it. That is until I found out there are different types of Respark Shields; Respark II, Respark III.
I'm also curious about Damage Resistance (fire, electric, radiation, etc). Does it really matter or do any help if I once of these? I know that the Capacity of the shield goes is lower when one has Damage Resistance against something. Basically, I try to move around a lot when I'm fighting/shooting, so resistance against the Syphon nano effect might be good for me... but is it really worth it?
I went to the Defiance Data wiki site to look up the different types of each shield to compare which would be better for me, but the search came out empty. It did have a basic description for each "brand" of shield, but not the different types each had. I even tried looking up Respark III and it took me to a page not found link. =/
Side note: I haven't been able to play the game since I discovered this and got booted off the game earlier because of server disconnect, so I haven't checked my Intel to see if there was information about each type of each shield they offer.
Does anyone have a link to a site that does provide details for shields and each type they have so that I can compare what I want to find? Or is someone willing to break them down for me here?
Edit:
Oh! I forgot to add... My EGO is 600+ (i've been to a lot of arkfalls and sieges for practice, lol) and I only play the free-version with no DLC until I'm not broke anymore, I'm sure that has something to do with these shields and their availability to when I can have them, but I still want to be able to compare all the different versions of each shield for further knowledge.
Edit #2: I'm in the game now and my shield is: Respark (green) 600; Damage Resistance Electric; Capacity 1405; Recharge/Sec 40%; Recharge Delay 2.85; Armor Plates 1

Edit #3: I originally posted this in the missions and contracts area, but was told it would be better suited here by a helpful poster.
