Oh no you don't. WE'RE GOING TO WAR, SIR.
was i in any of these vids? (check my sig,got a warmaster kill with altras the ended up with me joining cronus)
A couple questions for advice here, because I have been in arkfalls with the Warmaster before and only a few people seem to know what they are doing. None of them has the WM been defeated. I'm low EGO, but I try my hardest to break that armor with the weapons I have. My score is usually good, but I think that's only because I use automatic weapons with either fire or radiation as their nanos.
So would I be able to make a group and invite my clanmates into the chamber? Do I have to wait until I am directly in the Warmaster chamber (with the locks and after defeating all the Volge) to invite them in between the time I jump in and before someone starts breaking the locks?
I had a clanmate ask me today if she would end up in the same Warmaster chamber with me after we grouped together. At the time I didn't know why she asked this, but after reading this, I think this is why she asked. I also ask that because by the time I jump into the chamber, someone has usually started breaking the locks. Would I still have time to invite them into the chamber I am located in?
Is it easier to let someone heal me, or to just extract when I am incapacitated?
I ask this cause I have luckily only died once during a WM fight and was able to self-extract, but I know I'm going to die a lot more times later down the road.
What kind of assault rifle do you or anyone else recommend against WM? I haven't really played much with them because I'm better with SMGs (better bloom). Which I've been bringing in. I would like to try for an assault rifle next because they have better damage stats.
GG pistol damage. But just a question why aren't you using something with higher DMG? Volge Lightning rifle, Vot Needler ect? More "DPS".
Easier press T - there is moment like this at 1st vid
I'm personally prefer hip-fire SMGs (with Gunslinger perk)
Nanos: Rad (with both Rad perks)/ Fire (with DMG to health perk)/ Bio (as secondary - to drop WM's armor plates)
VOT Pulser
FRC Sub-carbine
Also you can use aiming weapon, but it will slower you a lot
VBI SMG
VBI AR or VBI TACC AR
Be sure your SMG with falloff damage mod
Any another kinds of weapons - just shtacko
Volge weapons are too slow, so DPS is lower
VOT Needler - you will ran out of ammo too fast and will be forced to stop shooting and go to ammo-box
Pistol - Wolfhound obviously, coz it have crazy big crit mult, also add here his high EGO and Damage spike
make sure that your group leader, and have your group mate use "go to leader" teleport option, then once there in (ostenibly while yer waiting for locks to break) disband group, and do the same thing all over again
just extract, its faster, and the score bonus from wm kill makes up for the loss
vbi tacc assault is good, need fire for sheer dmg, radiation for armor peircing, and bio for armor destroying when you dont have a 50 to 100 swarm
Was this directed to me?
In case it was... I don't have any of the DLCs, so the Volge Lighting Rifle isn't an option. EDIT: At least the ones I've been looting aren't ones I can use.
I'm practicing with pistols right now in the game, so I should be able to bring one in the WM fight soon enough. I just never get any good pistols in loot drops.
All advice I've gotten for this is to use fast shooting weapons because WM moves around so much. So when I'm a much higher EGO level and much better with various types of weapons, I will be able to go into a WM fight and help the people who were once like me during it.
For starters, 2 million sounds a bit exaggerated. Next up, you have to consider things like the firing speed of the weapon, the crit multiplier, clip size, ammo pool and reload time. When you factor all of these, the Wolfhound/Wildcat is the mathematical weapon of choice for the latter portion of the encounter. Don't take my word for it, Dux it.
In regards to the Tachmag/Needler/Hogleg efficiency, I myself use a Fire Needler and when I'm actually going to kill the boss, the armor tends to break before I run out of ammo. Part of the reason is that when the locks break, I don't see 12 damage spikes go down in the same spot. Winning groups have actual strategy to them. Part of that strategy is Spike diversity. Efficiency is not an issue when you have unlimited resources at your disposal.
TL;DR: When I killed WM with Cronus, if an Ammo spike went down, a Damage spike went down next to it, and vice versa.
